I named her.
It made her real.
Something I could identify.
Something I could attempt to control.
I call her my midnight friend.
She is a lot more than that.
She is my defender.
She is my goddess.
She lives inside of me.
A part of me, but still completely separate.
I am still working on figuring out what that means.
I know she is stronger than me, fiercer, too.
She has a short temper and a high *** drive.
I keep her on a leash.
She doesn't like it, but she understands.
She is my life warrior. She keeps me going.
Without her I would crumble...

She is happy to have a name now.
We get along better this way.
