Filling the Void

my hours are now spent trying to fill the void
the huge vacuum of space left behind
going through the motions like an android
stumbling with my thoughts feeling so blind

the passion and the flames are memories now
that is all that they could ever be
need to find me a new direction somehow
but I still think of her I still think of me

I look all around and see beauty abound
reflections of the beauty I once knew
her voice such a perfect sound
filling the void left by you
