Expendable
Forty-three years ago
I was expendable.
Expendable means:
cannon fodder,
unimportant,
food for powder,
victim, target, pawn,
disposable, superfluous,
replaceable.
Not an appropriate
term for humans.
Once you have been
expendable,
you can never be
quite human again.

To the lost.
