In my quest
To get famous
Poetry is what
My game is
Despite that
I’m still nameless
But I hope
Some day to change this

You see it’s not
For lack of trying
To imply that
Would be lying
I’ve tried hard
There’s no denying
To do my job
And I’m not crying

I’m frustrated
That’s the word
I’d like to know
If you’ve heard
So tell me
If that’s occurred
Or whether you think
It’s absurd

I’m just hoping to
Find my place
Somewhere within
The human race
I’ve been engaged
On that chase
By keeping up
A frenetic pace
