As I sip down this wine
to calm my nerves insides,
its amazing you can't smell whats in front of you.
I want a double life,
one on the side, and one to hide.
People come and people go.
But you,
   You I hold onto.
I held on in high school.
I held on 5 hours away.
I've held on during the "your stupid"s
and the "its over"s.
I've held onto you.
And you've held on too.
To my puppet strings connected to my hear.
You say its all in the mind.
Well I am about to show you,
What I've held onto up here.
