I accept the right of those
Who always like to state
Their First Amendment Rights
As they spew their hate
But the right to incite
Is an open debate
They will find along the line
They’ll be crushed by its weight

I accept that everyone
Has their own points of view
That guides and informs the kinds of things
That they choose to do
Like add insult to injury
There are more than a few
Whose language is quite gingery
And some are liars too

I accept that there are those
Who’ll no doubt disagree
With everything that I hold dear
Especially civility
They lack insight but have the right
To malign anyone’s religion
That they might choose to slight
That’s solely their decision

I accept all kinds of things
That I cannot change
Even those whose behaviors
I find very strange
Different strokes for different folks
Can run a whole wide range
And they rarely have to be coaxed
To engage in a heated exchange
