When it comes to cops
Too many rush
To paint them all
With the same brush
To those who do
I must say hush
They’re not all bad
Believe and trust

Don’t let the few
That you despise
Color your view
Open your eyes
It’s easy to
Tell yourself lies
About their crew
But is it wise

When it comes down
To the crunch
One rotten apple
Don’t spoil the bunch
Not all of them
Are out to lunch
So why give them
A knockout punch

I’m not sayin’
They all are saints
But be careful
How your brush paints
I accept that
They’ll be complaints
But let’s be fair
And use constraints
