May 2015
it's what we don't have
that's important
It's all the things we could be,
but are not
We dance in the premise of
a new love,
another nightly routine to fall
into
A pair of lips to get to know
How many others do you
know as much as you
would like to?
It's not enough, never enough,
to greet reality
The heart of misplaced intelligence
and sloppy kisses,
the banal confrontation of self
settling down

I fall quickly, and so hard
for ideas and dreamy anticipation
