Contradictions
I
love
the way you smile,
I hate the way you make me wild.
I
love
the way you're kind,
I hate the way you're not mine.
I
love
the way you care,
I hate the way you make me worry about my hair.
I
love
the stolen glances,
I hate the need to take chances.
Best of all,
I
love
the way you brighten my day.
Worst of all,
I hate the way you think everything's okay.
But in the end,
It's safe to say,
I love you through and through.
