Speak truth to power
Make your voice heard
Especially when your silence
Might be what's preferred
Truth crushed to earth
Will one day rise again
And those who are now in  power
Won't be in the end

Speak truth to power
And don't be afraid
Of what can happen
Once that choice is made
God is on the side
Of those who persevere
And in the face of struggle
Show patience not despair

Speak truth to power
Because the truth needs to be heard
Each and every syllable
Comprising every word
People need to hear the truth
Every now and then
It becomes so critical
That the truth gets in
