It was a sunrise in my eyes from a yond
A new day for me to respond
My dream of a sparkling clear pond
My life to look upon
It was a day to begin
A whole day at the very end
It was my usual routine
Breakfast of course being full of protein
My hair had to have the right sheen
Then it would be off to work on the bus
I had to be on time being a must
I would be busy at my desk
Watching the clock would be my confess
Later another work day that would be complete
Before I would go home, I would stop at a bakery for a treat
Well the sun is starting to go down
I am on the bus homeward bound
I am in my bed fast asleep not hearing a sound
Well Good night being the sight and off with the lights
Now into the darkness and sleep tight.
