I was a river, gently flowing,
but you were a hurricane looking for a new flame.
I was looking to be swept away.
The wind, so forceful, only pushing me astray.

Where am I going?
I don't know.
I just want a reason for you not to go.
The water splashing all around,
Leaving droplets never to be found.
Lost, now you go,
Leaving this peace for me, on my own.
