strength

Only one
| |
::
such a simple song
Drifts ( as we drift )
••
Ain't gonna fight no more
You wanna win ? ( you won ! )
//
Tired ( I am ) of Mass Stupidity
//
Softly Lost
In the LOVE
that shades the streets from the Pain
That we impose
Upon eachother
in our shame
//
Strength
Lingers for awhile
But leaves
(Knowing it shall not be used again )
Our lives are but tenderness
Silhouetted in the darkening days
Of our abject surrender to our unworthiness
And our irresponsibilities
•
Strength
( to love anyway )
••
Here we are
We can
TELL ANY STORY THAT WE WANT !
We can
CREATE THE WORLD WORTHY OF OUR NAME !
"""""
Listen
all we hear are hungry children weeping
Why ?
( no one Speaks )
/////
Lost in the tenderness
The shadows and the streets
The MAN !
so simply
Gathers
Who so ever would go
And takes them HOME
again and again
