The spring warms us with a hotter and more refreshed sun

Shining upon our souls

such rays thaw out the chills that ice over spirits

that lead us to a more dreary daily run.

Smells of fresh green grass

Sights of birds returning from winter migration

sends us out an invitation

To go forth and start anew

to grow in self with others who are close to you.

Fresher breaths of warmer, cleaner, and reborn air

fill our lungs and give us the energies

To succeed anew

As we finish winter’s challenge and never fall

over it’s cold and heavy glares.
