Oh, no creature
like you has ever lived.
You are haunting in form and line.
you intoxicate my mind and very soul.
Oh, how I have fallen for you like a child!
You walk by and my heart stops and sinks
I curse myself for this hopeless hope!
Oh, my heart is hopelessly chained to you.
Oh, how nature calls out your name.
The frees and flowers sing of your beauty.
My heart burns in a hot flame
a flame of endless longing.
My soul lives or dies
with the answer to the question
"Do you love me?"
Oh, how I long to hear those words
those words I so dream of, "I love you."
Oh, the song of every bird in every tree
reminds me of your lovely voice.
Oh, how I am captured by you
and tortured by the want of your love.
Oh, the pain that racks my heart and soul!
Oh, how I long to run my fingers through your midnight hair
and feel your fingertips like raindrops upon my face.
Oh, how the touch of your hand
would return life to my dying soul.
Oh, how my love for you is an endless song
sung by my heart
through all the days of time and eternity.
Oh, I live in fear that you will never love me
that I will never hear those so longed for words
that tell me you love so.
Oh, how my heart is lost in you
in your perfect face and form
and your heart and soul so like an angel!
Oh, I die a little every day
without you beside me
and my blood will flow
like a slow poison within me
and I will die a slow painful death
if you are never by my side.
Oh, my love for you knows no end
my heart sing of its longing for you forever.
