You always loved the sea
and maybe thats why  as i stare into the seas blue abyss -
you’re on my mind.

I go through waves of missing you
each wave bringing a new heart ache -
today the way you’d always speak your mind.

We thought we’d have floods of time
thats the thing about the ocean -
it brings floods that destroy,  just like you destroyed my heart
and drowned my mind.
