It was to determine in whom was the fastest Disney character and a familiar trademark in having a race
The idea being on the eye of competition and not make haste
The Disney character being “Peter Pan”
He is known too all children throughout the land
Now the trademark being the “Greyhound Dog”
The Greyhound dog is known for speed and knowing not too heel
Well this was a pinnacle race and not something from a reel
Peter Pan and the Greyhound dog at the starting line waiting for the sound of when
Peter Pan was stretching a little
The Greyhound dog is all limbered up and ready to go
The gun shot off in a race that begun
Peter Pan stating, “A way he goes”
The Greyhound dog stating, “Follow my dust flow”
The Greyhound dog speedily spreading dust in the wind
Peter Pan seems to be having difficulty and spreading himself thin
Yet the Greyhound dog is determined to win
Peter Pan can only think if he can
But the race continues on, but it just make not be long
The Greyhound dog moving swiftly around the track
Seconds are turning into a quick moment
Suddenly it has been determined who will win
It was the Greyhound dog crossing the finished line at the end
It was Peter Pan trying to catch his breathing wind
He was thinking on another time from then to a future thought of when
Well a race well done and it was all in fun.
