Jump between and in two sticks
and cry wolf at the door,
let the dogs begin to howl
I don't hear them
anymore.

Jump between and in two clicks
my legs are tired and sore
let the dogs begin to howl
I don't hear them
anymore.

On and in and on and out
I wonder,
what's life all about?
This tree of knowledge
is all but bare,
I jump between and nothing's there.

This battery pack is on his back
the lights are going dim,
in or on or out and in
chances are and they're very slim,
I may, if luck is on my side,
last just long enough to
cast my shadow one more time.
