I wish i could undo what she did to you.
I wish i could undo all the awful things you've had to struggle through.
But life doesn't work that way, you & i, we work in two's.
Like a vastly complex machine, with bolts and screws.
I'm trying to be something that doesn't fail you-
Someone you can hold onto.

Have you ever wanted to give someone the world;
as if they were the world itself?
I'd like to offer you all of me.
The depths of my mind & the unsubtle rumbling inside.
Maybe then you'd forget her in your untold dreams.
Honesty isn't always just quite what it seems.

Like a shadow hanging over you, she haunts you as i'm holding you.
Telling you i won't stay, that just like her- I will be the same.
Shut it out, for you & for me.
I'm here, as long as you'll have me.
