we pretend

To
Love
Each other !

////// see
                                                      The young boy or girl !

Oh lord !

//         //

What are we now  ?

I remember once in New York City

On an afternoon

The ghost of e e Cummings

Come and sat besides me for awhile

///

In the magic of real days

////

Oh my child you are

And all of you too are

And all the useless laughter

Hiding your pain

And I too laugh

I laugh at the useless pain

••

The pain that you so lovingly embrace

                                   //

all in all

As if we cared

The strangers mingle in the park

And leave in the shadows in the dark

And in single file

Head out for the bars

To drown themselves in loneliness

••

   Does it matter

That it doesn't really matter ?

To whom does it matter to

Or not matter to ?

//

What does it mean

TO MATTER ?

//

//

ARE WE DYING OR ARE WE DEAD ?

the only thought left in our heads
