And maybe I was wrong
for thinking
that you would never leave
I have been fighting back the tears
Baby please
I'm not that strong
As I feel that one drop of sorrow
running down my cheek
that carries your love with me.
I have been searching all my life
carrying this hurt inside
Flirting with disaster
It's just been such a miserable and painful ride
I'm surprised I'm still alive
when my heart died
I have been down this road all my life
I swear it's getting colder
It's so much harder to survive
when you're just a loner
who's been rejected and denied
I have been beatin' black and blue
These ****** bruises, they are my tattoo's
depression
