Hazy as the clouds on high
she lays in verdant fields
lazy is this child of peace
our child we called Daisy

Her gun turrets were full of flowers
she spoke in purple and blue
the code name she did hold
well that was her deception

Inside her mild inner walls
love would rule supreme
she had no reason she'd say
no reason to take arms and fight

Moss did start to grow
every year there would be more
laying still for many centuries
not wanting to be battle ready

Soon now dear sweet Daisy
soon you will have to move
and take flight to fight
in the forest of forgiveness
