Misunderstood
Rage engulfs me
like flame unto wood
here I stand, again
alone and misunderstood
If I could leave
I suppose I would
To live my life
the way I should
But the flames have burnt me
so brutally bad
that I can hardly walk
and seldom stand
Hopeless as a bird
with an ankle band
But I know
you just don't understand
