loss brings out demons
lying in wait
in the darkest part of the soul.
they tell you to drink
smoke, cringe and weep;
they trick you into thinking
you've lost it all.
and I know it's hard
no, I don't understand
because I'm privileged enough
to have my dad;
but just because you don't
have him here with you
doesn't mean you should
waste yourself away too.
why can't you learn from his mistakes?
