Oh, some still remember those segregation days, as good days.
From their perspective things probably shouldn't have changed.
They felt it was proper to treat others below them.

Oh, they see nothing wrong with some walking through the back door.
All because, they felt better to be in control.
Yes, to them -them was the days.

Listen to the twisted minded politicians speaking his view.
Listen to the upper class speaking like it wasn't a rule.
Listen to the child speaking theirs too.

But none can explain the separate water fountain rules.
When both water fountain spilled out the same water to them too.
Or the separate level of the movie theater showing the same movie.

Oh, to them that cries, how great these days was?
Then place yourself in the other's group shoes.
Which many would honestly refuse to vote to do.

All because, they can't handle being called second class.
When in truth, they are no better than those ever called that term.
Who faced the wrath of hate from them still?

Oh, they cry and complain more just for honestly competing for jobs.
Cause they , now in a society seeking the best.
And in some perspective views, they think the good old days still should rule.

Yes, time has changed.
And some has adapted.
Then we still surrounded by some, who will never?
And they asked why?
They aren't assigned to be received in heaven.
