ode on a midnight freight train
Heading west

she ALWAYS comes with me ( dear girl)
••
We ride !
Enough the ***** willow songs that call to yield !
We ride !
Through the town of ****
Past the rusty archaic Razor Blade
Seeking the higher kingdom in them thar hills !
••
Enough this hanging out
Tryin to be the HOUSE SLAVE
Instead of the FIELD !
Enough this ***** scene of Broken Loyalties !
////
Enough our *****-ness !
Let's be MEN again !
••
Headin west
On the FREIGHT TRAIN SONG
into FREEDOM 'S DAWN
and TOMORROW ' S CHILD PLAYING
FREE AND STRONG !
///
Ode to the FIRST DAY here at last
•
We
( me and my love )
Have come so you could see us and come too
The simplest truth
Is the only one that's
Really here
