over the bridge crosses the river
the Brooklyn Bridge into the Mystique

She was a girl once but now ?
//
The tired dream couldn't carry her no more
• •
Young cowboy dawn
His song is fit for glory but it's you he sees
//
She was once a lover but oh my god !
//
In the wild country that has no name
Something is stirring
What is it now
Coming this way ?
///
She was once a loving child but now ?
Oh my god !
//
He wanders down by the railroad tracks
But all escape is guarded by police men
//
She
Daughter of god
Mistress of all creation
Look !
It's a joke she is
/:/
Over the bridge
Crosses the river
Even the poets don't know
What this means
