She
So, one day, she found me.
A thousand miles away
(It's a small world)

I didn't fell for her then.
I haven't fallen for her still

But now as I sit. Reminiscing
the conversations we had
I feel a slight tinge of pain,
'What ifs' and things left unsaid.

She had goals, me too
I held back, she too.

But I didn't fall for her then
I just slipped.
A little bit,
Every single day.

I don't know why I liked her
She was moody, and unkempt.
angry and hurtful
and so vulnerable

and so strong
a mirror of me

All I wished for was a friend
for a lifetime
All she wanted was a friend
And nothing more

she found someone
of a different kind.

I wished to fall for her
Head over heels.
But no, I didn't
And now I wish I had.

At least she would've shattered
me completely.
So that I could start everything
again from scratch.

Now she'd be in someone's arms
And me, reminiscing
the conversations we had.
'What ifs' and things left unsaid.
