The horizon draws near
a season drinking in the glory of innocence
Perfection seems over-rated
holiness lost in a dream
where is it stated
everything is the way it seems?
There is emptiness deep in the soul
a hollow feeling that won't go away
dealing with which way to go
The madness finds a home
the direction is just a blank slate
starting over once again
wanting to be forever alone
but life has other plans
