There is an accent on the E, a
comment passed where you and
I were playing in the key
of G.
You sensed me like a second skin
I wore you out within the staffs and staves
and fell into your notes which told
of pain and heartache.
We bore it all and well we bore those notes linked on the page, we
saw the Sun go down and rise and fall
we saw it all and more.
We bore it well.
