She held a bullhorn
To his ear
And being deaf
He could not hear.

And she decried
All of his wrongs
which to his ears
were lovers songs.

She cursed him
For his tardiness
To him, his head
she seemed to bless.

She cried he was a
lazy dog.
To him, she prayed
as though to God.
