Oh, many place you back in the back ground.
As if you have no importance to the cause.
You stood your ground and started a revolution.

When all you probably was seeking a simple resolution.
To a solution.
And long before Martin Luther King stand, there was you.
Standing up for justice and truth.
You was the spark plug for civil rights.

One woman stood firm to protest and fight.
No injustice is ever right.
Miss Rosa Park, we owe you.
Even if you have no day named after you.
