Young Suicide
I see beauty in soft greens
Triumphant blues escaping
From under the black fading to grey
Adrianne lost her son
When buds sprouted outside
Muddy rain soaked windows
She will never be the same
I hug my daughter
Like this is the last time I will see her
Viscous malt thickness throat closure
Because it could be me
Because why not me
I still see beauty
In fog drifting off the harbour
In the melodies of Mozart
The flavors and spices
Of everyday life
But Adrianne doesn't
For my dear friend.
