If what is subconscious
is outside of our
conscious, waking perception
then maybe life is simply our attempt
at understanding what's beyond that line.

Maybe in dreaming
our perception crosses that line,
like a molecule undergoing osmosis.

Maybe then dreaming is our attempt
at understanding where we just were.
