And we used to go there
and it would be
evening time
and the train seemed

so slow
and the darkness
wrapped itself
about us

and the coast was wild
when we arrived
the sea rough
a wind tearing

into us
yet we stood gazing
out at the dark sea
and snuggled

into each other
against the wind
and you said
this is our place

this is where
we will always
remember
and your words

were carried away
by the wind's storm
and I recall
your hand in mine

your thumb rubbing
against the back
of my hand's skin
a thousand years

it seems
like the material
of dry
and wet dreams.
