We need a bit of magicry to cut
through all the tragedy,
a wizards wand to cast a spell and
a potion that would make us well.

The devil sits behinds the eyes,
manipulates the tongue that lies.

The brush does not tar all the same,
though some would rush to place
the blame,upon
the innocent by any name.

I have if wished, the right to pray,
democracy gives me the right to say,
with free will
God gives me this day and God by
whatever name he's known
does not condone
killing.
