Jan 2015
the fault line between us shifts
setting us on edge as we grind against each other
wearing us down, breaking pieces and chunks
we tear each other apart, the world is made of just us,
floating alone, none without the other
we lean, quaver, and break, rolling tides spin around,
the sun is scorching each of us the same
and we quake.
