I saw a picture from WWII
Where the NAZIS herded a bunch of kids
Into the back of a van
Drove them off into the woods
And executed them
//
It reminded me of you
//
The moon was full
They were dreaming of love
•
In the woods
We hang around the fire
But nothing is seen
Nothing is felt
Nothing is learned
••
She said
I LOVE YOU
I looked around
DO YOU MEAN ME ?
DOES IT MATTER ?
She asked
//
I handed her the bottle and got away
••
We are whole and complete human beings
Oh but how we act otherwise / but
WE DON'T MIND
NO WE DON'T
