Skip a beat
It may do you some good
To stray from the all too familiar
DUBDUB
                  DUBDUB
                                    DUBDUB
And pursue a different rhythm
Maybe something like
XEE
        QUA
                  SINXX
We are not who we say we are
Merely reflections of what we try to
Leave behind
And to spread goodwill
Without finding it first
Is to blanket the world
With chaos
And turmoil
And love
F  O  R  G  E  T
love
it remains in the corner, utterly
P            T          S
  O     N    L    S
       I             E
And destructive.
