ICE KINGDOM
White elephants of the icy sea flopping, struggling.
A dynasty of protection.
Hierarchy of wrinkled beasts.
The polar bear with cubs in tow, perfect footing,
Just look at her go.
Her feet anchored to the ****** snow.
Walrus wanders, her youngster plays.
Not playing, practising, the survivor's artistry.
Not a carpenter in sight.
(C) Livvi
I watched a program about polar bears and walruses.
