Dec 2014
Lift the blanket and peep out
The rush of wind hits the socket
a finger dares to explore the cold air
That gets shoved back in the pocket.
Oh it is oh so cold out there
I can hear the wind rush round the trees
I wonder if Jack Frost has been
I can now feel the cold around my knees.
Well take the bold step and out I pop
from the safety and warmth of my bed
A quick dash here and a quick dash there
Pull on the nearest warm thing and off I shoot
To the kitchen for my tummy to be fed!
