Dec 2014
My tears often come down my face
Situations of the world I wish I could erase
The act of violence that is out of control
Then there’s the momentum in behold
I can’t even close my sleepy eyes
I feel I must apologize
Yet the world seems totally confused
Perhaps the appropriate term of being used
Civil Rights documentation of dignity and feeling proud of whom you are
It shouldn’t be like a community with an unwelcomed gate
This we all can relate
It shouldn’t be a drama of fate
Nor **** a life and think this is being straight
When will the killing of people stop?
Why so much killing of a cop?
Revenge is no one’s reward
It’s disobedience being a strike of the sword
The world won’t heal overnight
However it cannot continue as an ongoing plight
There is a song, “BREATH OF HEAVEN” and that is our light
Tomorrow shouldn’t be a forgotten yesterday
But a future that clearly states what tomorrow should actually be
The world’s eyes in full focus for all too see
Change must start from within
Otherwise there is no reason for begin
The question is as of when?
Total unity coming from then to can
Then true living of prosperity to the very end.
