A single tear
is in the corner
of my right eye.

It feels like
it's on repeat.
Been there before.

When exactly
I don't know,
does it matter?

Too often I read
of tragedy and
of things gone wrong.

When I do,
the tear returns
to travel down.

Just the one tear
showing emotion
and heartbreak.

Letting the world
know that something
touched my heart.

Letting people know
that my heart aches
for those hurt.

Letting them know
I feel for them
and I'm there for them.

There's a single tear,
it's in the corner
of my right eye.

It sends a message:
I care, I'll help,
you're not alone...

At every moment of the day
there is a chance for you
to go somewhere utopian.

Just take a minute
and close your eyes;
imagine that special place.

Find the spot
where you feel at peace;
drown in imagined sounds.

Take a moment to
not think of anything,
find the silence in your mind.

The worries are for later,
now, all you need is rest.
Go to your imaginary haven
and find your peace.

My special place always helps me find peace inside...

His humour is sarcastic,
his belly is never full.
His life is filled with jokes,
his days are never dull.

He hates all the spiders
that are living in his house.
He doesn’t mind his friend,
a squeaky little mouse.

He always makes fun of the dog,
who doesn’t seem to have a brain,
and he despises “the world’s cutest kitten”
because he thinks it’s a real pain.

His owner is at his wit’s end,
he doesn’t know how to get
this big, fat, orange creature to
finally act like a real cat.
-
Because what cat eats lasagna
at every chance he has?
What cat has a teddy bear,
instead of on his arm a lass?

One of my favourite comics! (I know, the rhyme isn't perfect..)

2013 edit: added some typical stuff, finally, noted by DieingEmbers that it was missing.

The horrifying moment
                when you realize
           you're slowly
starting to catch a cold.

Feeling tired all week,
     thinking you didn't sleep enough.
              But now thoughts are jumbled
and your nose starts feeling weird.

  A vague ache
now is in your throat
           and you know it:
a cold is on its way.

Most bosses think having a cold doesn't stop you from performing well at work... I think they think wrong. A real cold is a real pain.

Whenever I say
that my home
is wherever he is,

he replies
that his home
is wherever I am.

Our home is everywhere,
as long as we're together.

It doesn't matter whether your house is big or small, as long as you can share it!
