Ocean Blue Sep 2014
Stop by for a while
You've had a long journey
Through the dust and the sun
of the Holy Land.
Have a sit under my leaves
Enjoy my shade
Feel no shame.
You see how I'm wise,
How old I am
You can touch my rough skin
You can count my rings
Multiplied along the centuries.
Take the blood of my fruits,
My oil will give you
Peace and health
Prosperity and Faith.
My love I can give to many.
I am the olive tree
Of Gethsemane.

Let me have
A last look
At your green horizon
Take me in your dream
To Warsaw and beyond
Before I fall asleep,
With a smile on my lips.
Ocean Blue Sep 2014
When everyone else
Is gone
Beyond the clouds
When the world crumbles
And the life is done
I will be the one
Surviving
The forgotten promises
The disappointments
The lost summer
The fading smile
The daily headache
I will survive it all
Because I'm strong
Don't get me wrong.
Yes Madam,
I will be
The last man.

A few nights
After it happened,
During that sad winter,
She told him
A dream she had
The night before:
The One
Was standing near the hole
That was already
His forever home.
She tried to take his hand
To bring him back
Amongst the ones
Who were crying for him,
When a huge dog,
A black and silent shape,
Appeared out of nowhere
And
Prevented her to approach
Any further.
She could do nothing else
Than witnessing
The One
Going down into the hole
And lying there
In the garden of Eden
Quietly
Where he is still sleeping.
I wish I had this dream.

Everyday, it is there
Next to him, in him,
A presence he does not dare
To look straight in the eyes.
From early in the morning
Till late in the evening,
It gives him no chance,
To escape anywhere.
Sometimes it is stronger,
In his head it sounds like
The waves on the Basque coast,
Going backwards,
Coming back
Stronger than
he can sometimes bear.
His vision it sometimes alters,
Shaping black clouds around.
The lady in white
Told him not to worry
So he obeys.
But the lady in black
With the long scythe,
Standing behind,
Invisible in the dark,
Silently giggles,
Patiently waiting
for this new client,
To enlarge her circles.
About headache

Here they are
The knights of the truth
Riding their books
Of fairy tales
Here they come
To the house of secrets
The wizards of Lachaux
With their whispers
She can hear
From across the fields
The fields of gold
One day will be cropped
By her
If she wishes so.
A question of choices  :)

As his shining grey Alfa Romeo
Endlessly rolls on the side
In an appletree field in Bretagne,
After crashing on a truck,
That was not supposed to be stuck
There in the middle of the road,
Just minutes before dying,
He remembers pieces of his life.
The full life of a happy man
Who has a loving Italian wife
A gorgeous Austrian lover,
An unstable father,
A distant son whom he feels
He has not been close enough,
A best friend named François,
With whom he runs a company.
In a few minutes,
All this will be gone.
Disappeared from the earth,
Remaining only in the memory
Of a few ones.
In a last minute,
Surrounded by a white fog,
All characters of his life,
Appear in front of him,
Standing silently,
Sadly looking at him,
For a last au revoir.
Inspired by Paul Guimard's novel "Les Choses de la Vie" (1968), and the subsequent movie by Claude Sautet (1970), starring Michel Piccoli, Romy Schneider, Lea Massari, Jean Bouise...
