The time will come

When friends will become friends

All will join hands

No matter who they are

Trust will ripple through the crowd

Like a wave in the sea

And we will all become one
the cold bit at her fingertips,
gently asked for her attention.

she was the winter and he
was the breeze

she was the snow;
he was the frostbite.

she was everything he wasn't
and he wasn't even close to anything
that she was; or wanted
I wrote this poem a while ago and posted it now bc idk. I feel sappy and sad and I don't know. whatever enjoy. or not.
I've missed hundreds of poems.
A potent poet focused on verses well spoken.
Not one that's been chosen,
Just one that's been frozen.
Stuck on ambrosian bread;
No head, Soft bed, Strong bread:
Just got better instead
On a strand. Better than
Better hand. Rather than
Burning myself, I went outside
And got some help with understanding
the hand I've been dealt.

She made breakfast
of sausage, toast and eggs,
sunny-side up.
With a smile that reflected
my shattered perception,
I scarfed the food down.
It was a pitiful apology.
The toast was burnt;
the sausage cold and
the eggs were runny.
It was a meal put together
by someone that knew
they could do no wrong.
I ate every crumb in a false show of good faith.
You see, breakfast comes every morning
with or without our participation.
The tears on my heart, however,
are only made with her designation

her budding *******
begged his lips attention
he kissed each one
she felt a pleasant tingling
go through her excited body

Mercy
don't kiss me in the rain
the cool drops of water
remind me of the tears i shed
when i thought you'd never return
so please, don't kiss me in the rain

don't kiss me in the sunlight
it's shimmering rays
remind me of the light you radiated
when you spoke the words
'i love you'
and i was too scared to mutter them back
so please, don't kiss me in the sunlight

don't kiss me in the shadows
the crawling darkness
reminds me of the dark hands strangling me
when i tried to keep my depression a secret
so please, don't kiss me in the shadows

don't kiss me beneath the moon
it's brilliant contrast from the dark night sky
reminds me of how small and alone we are
and how alone i'd be without you
so please, don't kiss me beneath the moon

don't kiss me under the old oak tree
there were lovers once hung here
and souls that weeped from pain
their memories perpetrating our beings
almost making me wish
i had never met you at all
so please
just don't kiss me at all
