The Magic Man!
Olivia Kent Aug 2013
Necromancer dances,
Casting capricious echoes in his wake,
He stirs his melting *** as he conjures up his brew,
Whatever he is cooking up,
He wants to share with you,
For he made a love potion,
To fill you with desire,
What he's after most of all,
Is to truly stoke your fire,
Needs to show you what he's got,
Heaven be praised, he's really hot,
In a cauldron full of burning spice,
Good Lord this man is really nice,
This delicious wizard man,
Is really really sweet!

Tory Politicians!
Olivia Kent Aug 2013
Tory Politicians!

Mr and Mrs General Public,
Live in quiet servitude,
Bruised and battered,
Into perverse submission,

While sitting in the darkest realms,
Where they are destined to dwell,
Sat deep in satanic mines,
In the House of Commons,
Personification of evil,
Vile in heart in mind,
Was not their choice,
To be there,
Apparently,
They sure soon learned a lot,
Captivated by black spirits,
Ripped our hearts out,
Stole our souls,
Took all our finance too,
By manipulations black intent.

They have not the merest clue,
What they do to me and you,
For they are politicians working to their own agendas,
Maybe not demon spawn,
Souls however, not from real world,
Where poverty is king,
The wealthy and the affluent,
Well,
What life skills can they bring?

They live not on a budget,
Never live from hand to mouth,
The little people in U.K,
Do an honest days work,
From week to week,
To earn an honest days pay,
To only live from day to day!

Fear!
Olivia Kent Aug 2013
Glued in the corner,
Transfixed by fear,
Of irrational things I cannot change,
As panic covers up my eyes I don't know what I see,
Start to shake, so want to run away,
Unable to move,
Escape is mercy,
Shaking incessantly,
Terror strikes,
Heart pounds,
Reaching for evasive breaths,
Unable to gasp,
Laugh,
Initially just a chuckle,
Followed by laugh of lunacy,
Then tears,
With tears relief apparent,
Tears bring mercy,
Escaped at last!

Big Kids!
Olivia Kent Aug 2013
In the falling rain we splashed through puddles,
Showered each other with childish smiles,
We tumbled and tripped,
Skipped and leaped,
A pair of daft hearts,
Wrapped up for safe keeping,
A pair of big kids,
With mud streaked faces,
We laugh out loud,
Two stupid adults,
That need to be proud,
Who cares,
The two of us played without airs or graces,
With soggy wet jeans and mud on our faces!

Reply to the Puppets!
Olivia Kent Aug 2013
Twilight crossed the evening sky,
Was a clear eve,
In early starlight I declare,
Saw shop of puppets appealing,
Almost calling out,
Some kind of lure, they'd called you back,
We had to stop and take a glimpse,

Now this evening,
My heels click clack across the cobbled square,
Desired another view of tragic puppets, looking blue,
From their incarceration of wooden hearts and bitter souls,
I too heard their suppressed weeping,
Sobbing tears despondently,

Looking through the dusty pane,
Visualised a figurehead,
Looked similar to you,
Wooden face stained with scars of tear stains,
Countenance of yours,
After I left you in the bar last night,
What veritable vision you now presented to my sight,

What kind of black magic kept you trapped,
For you were no bad man,
An occasional fool,
For now in the care of marionette curator,
In whose grasp became ensnared,
You were seized in a tragic subterfuge,
As a tragic marionette you dwell forever and a day!

World!
Olivia Kent Aug 2013
Earthquake erupts from the core,
Lava bubbles as beautiful earth reaches destruction,
For once not the impact of mans misuse,
A pressure cooker,
As heat increases,

Tiny delicate butterfly ***** her wings in the breeze,
Antennae taste the air,
Sensing the impending tsunami,
Swamping the other face of her force,
Once blessed world,

Buildings destroyed by vehement wars,
In terror as inhabitants,
Fly in abject misery,
News reports feed sorrow,
From all corners of the globe,
A globe with corners,
Well I never,
Well I can only hope I never anyway!

In an Understanding!
Olivia Kent Aug 2013
In an understanding of woman's intuition as it sinks,
Passion flowers petals fall,
As bachelors blue buttons diminshed, dishevelled tumble from grace,
In a heap of crumpled calico,
White and pure,
Used to mop the tears of weeping doom,
Tears sealed with loneliness extreme,
Forever and eternal in a never ending dream,
In a world of sacred senesce,
Where true love vanishes into the mist of time,
Erased by darkness,
Reminscent remnants of nightmares,
Which once invaded two sweet hearts,
Love in reality being doli-incapax, as she's novel,
So new so young so fresh!
(Doli-Incapax, means incapable of evil in Latin, it is a legal term discussing the age of a child to have criminal responsibility, I just thought that as my love is new and young that it was an apt expression to use to describe the fact that love doesn't have the intention of being evil, some logic in here somewhere! )

Olivia Kent Aug 2013
Bottle of Brain,
It makes us insane,
Say things so inane,
Heaven's sake,
Oh my goodness, for a bottle of brain,
In a tavern of drugs,
Art is created,
As under influence, brain's deviated,
Imagination fired up,
Enriched by chemicals,
Substances push mind into overdrive,
A passion for writing is fed,
Kept alive,
For me now as inspirations spark,
My brain lives on fresh air,
Once upon a time a tavern of drugs grabbed me,
Opened the scope of my mind,
From where I discovered the image I find,
To be able to create, hell it's great,
I'm different,
Indifferent and standing proud.

Unreal Reality!
Olivia Kent Aug 2013
In this unreal reality,
How does it feel to be blind,
In an abyss of ignorance of the darkest kind,
Eyes are locked under heavy lids,
Encrusted under layers of dust,
Evidence of life long gone,
When leisure time was pleasure time,
For you are not deceased,
Your heart beats on in tragic solitude,
The chill outside, encases a fiery interior,
Banners laid aside,
Stuck tight, trapped within trends of poetic justice,
A judicial reward, not retribution,
Poetry is our solution,
For she opens eyes to vision,
Dissects the world around,
Recants impressions of visual images,
As imagination plays,
Surface sights alone, conjure no imagery,
To see vision for what it's really worth makes life enchanted!

Questions
Olivia Kent Aug 2013
Questions!

Will I won't I,
Shall I shan't I,
I delve in darkened rooms,
Where all things hide,
Waiting to ****** and grab,
Scratch and fight,
As razors shred my skin,
In the distance looms a shadow,
A shroud disguises dead ends,
From where no soul returns,
Immortality is not a dream,
It's a fear,
Fear wrapped in ultra violet, from violent dreams,
Of escapades, in reckless dreams.
Dreams are always reckless,
And life is often wild!

Impact!
Olivia Kent Aug 2013
In world where emotions interfere,
Well, I sometimes wish I wasn't here,
For your delight, for dual pleasure,
Nothing more than simple measures,
In tenderness and truth I trust,
For my sweet mantra I do live,
In angels arms, I find much more than I ever discovered before,
Love, truth, trust respect I always want,
But rarely get,
When we say we love,
We know we do,
Living in fantasy ,in a world without defence,
I look deep inside you, I see no pretence,
You see none in me,
What you see in me is truly what you get,
For all the three of us,
You and me and poetry!

Making the Milky Way!
Olivia Kent Aug 2013
Hellenic days of poetry,
From a land of myth,
In legend dwelled the child of Zeus,
Head of the gods,
Zeus created ******* child in tryst with mortal chick,
Alcemene was the name,
Hera, wife of Zeus got angry at his infidelity,
Alcemene expected two, twin boys were on the way,
One baby conceived of Zeus the other was a mortal's son,
Hera had a consultation with Lithia, goddess of childbirth,
Hera twisted Lithia to prevent the childrens birth,
Alcemene's legs were cross locked to stop the birth ocuring,
Zeus declared in oath, child of house of Perseus born that night,
To become High King in place of heracless,.
Hera made Eurytheus, arrive too soon in premature immaturity,
Athena, half -sister of Heracles,
Protector of Gods, tricked Hera into nursing child,
Known as Alcides,
Real name Heracles,
Hera nursed him out of pity,
Heracles gave Hera pain on suckling,
Milk sprayed the heavens,
Hence there created, The Milky Way.

Being the Other Woman, Metaphorically!
Have to sit and dream a touch,
As passion for poetry dictates loves depths,
I spoke to her with tender tongue and quill of truthful trusting passion flowers,
Resistance is far fetched,
For she is the other woman who strokes my life gently,
But with burning fire,
She caresses you too,
Three lovers wrapped in one embrace,
At times pure with tranquility,
Always blessed with grace,
This special lady has her dark moments too,
She always makes us happy in everything we write,
I have to share my love for you,
In that I have no choice,
She is shared in my heart,
The cutest sweetest lady who is our poetic art,
I share your heart, I share your soul,
In darkness she's our anchor,
In brightness we adore her,
In conversations imagery,
She speaks, tells me that you love her, of that she is aware,
She also speaks to me in volumes, in telling me how much you care!

My Sweet Lover!

Fighting!
Olivia Kent Aug 2013
Darkness of night catches me,
Traps me in his grasp,
I grapple,
Trying desperately to avoid sleeps' sticky web,
Evasive action,
Breathe against cold night air,
Filtered through the open window,
Window to my sleepy soul,
Trying to stay alert,
Under a burning weight of two tonne eyelids,
Flicker of a mosquito shadow flickering under night's lamp illumination,
Buzzing manically,
So insane,
Heavy eyes drift,
View of shadow incessant flicking,
Vacant thoughts as topics drift,
Last shiver, quiver, jolt........,
Sleep.

Little Poetess!
Olivia Kent Aug 2013
Little clever poet,
Where Daddy wants to take a peep at all his daughters' writing skills,
A family trait I'm sure,
You write in your own right,
With poetic birds in their own flight of fancy,
This King and Queen your royal birds,
Created from your fantasy,

Darkness creeps into your world,
In a world where harmony and peace you seek,
When this world is cold and sad,
Lady Poetry makes us glad,
You and me and super Dad,
We find that poetry is able to spread a smile,
When caring for others has all gone,
Should the world becomes despondent,
While the world becomes broken, rather torn,
When humanity becomes lost,
For poetry, She is never to be ignored,
When you have the gift of writing,
Living so much more exciting....!

Another Day
Olivia Kent Aug 2013
Good morning world,
Sky bight and blue,
Woke up early, what to do!
Just another day to go,
To go  amuse my life away,
The joy of work invites me,
Enticing me in unbridled fashion,
Yea, I spend my day  laughing through every wonderful day!
But only when I'm somewhere else!
Olivia Kent 2013
Olivia Kent Aug 2013
Kiss of passion laced with mellow hemlock for suicides pleasure in a kiss goodbye,
Entered the realms of dark skies as a kiss goodnight,
A toxic tranquility as drifting away,
Glides softly into serenity via gentle paralysis,
Up and coming in gradual waves as waving goodbye,
Cyanosis catches up, heart and brain devoid of feeling,
What joy,no pain,
Slips from a nightmare,
Shaking screaming
A fiery fury as hemlock laced kiss,
Hits the final spot before dying,
Crying a fatal goodbye,
Crucified as cheerio,
Blessed incarnate no fury,
For all is not lost,
Allegedly death is the last great escapade!

Olivia Kent Aug 2013
He wasn't my Daddy, but he bathed me real good,
With shower gel my heart invaded,
Most of this chicken many others have not seen,
Gave me a body bath cos he just ain't mean,
Washed my hair,
Not sure where,
Not sure how,
Guess I'm just a dozy cow,
I made him soggy,
Drenched him from my red hot bath,
My lovely boyfriend,
JC, my God how I so made him laugh,
I made him sweat with mischief,
Made him oh so very wet!

Misery Dispersed
Olivia Kent Aug 2013
Past misery washed away in a tear drop,
Bathed away on a soft pure handkerchief of white linen,'
Fell into tender arms governed by dark eyes,
Encased behind sweet dark poetry from depths of sweetest mind,
Find myself on a cloud reaching seventh heaven,
Within an orchestral symphony,
In violet haze with love embellished on her shell!

Essence of Sorrow
Olivia Kent Aug 2013
Crumbling into dust abhorrent,
In a misery of self esteem in full denial,
Continually reviled in a revolution of nightmares,
Veiled under skylight cloaked in sapphire,
Moonlight taps the tree tops, leaving only pallid illuminations on display,
Revealed the missing link to secret lives,
Fireflies smart provoke an image of light coming out of darkness'shell,
Banners dropped grounded as resilience is lost, in some sort of ridiculous futility!

In a blazing fear of being hurt again,
Chaos runs through muddled brain,,
Pain departed, won't be restarted,
Rain of acid washed away past pain,
'Fess up it's there ain't it grand that someone cares,
With a heart so genuine and warm who blesses you with TLC.....
Maybe you are dozy, maybe you are not,
For you won't accept the mischievious feelings you have got!

Growing Up!
Olivia Kent Jul 2013
On the dance floor wild party over,
Only remnants left behind,
Tangled strings and lace ribbons fell,
The happy clack deceased,
Final footsteps died,
Fabric limbs, wooden shoes discarded,
Redundant in neglect,
Painted smiles and yellow hair,
Created from wool that died'
Marionettes at life's end,
Little lady puppeteer,
Came of age,
Lost her innocence!

Solitary puppet cries alone,
Final curtain call been and gone,
For Columbine,
Without the puppeteer his true love is lost,
Chased her for years from the theatre of dreams,
He has to play solo from now on,
For his little love she has gone,
He'll never be able to get out of his box again.
Poor sweet soul!

Adorned!
Adorned in scarlet,
Love as she bleeds,
A heart torn out still beating,
Bathed in claret,
Drenched in tears,
Silent, cowering in vacant corners of abysmal dismay, in total disarray of obsolete dreams,

Tears flow as torrential rain,
Spirit vacates words, as lies corrupt and die,
Doomed to wait in misery while eternity waits impatiently,
Cloven hooves etch on worn ,
Welcome unto desolation in degenerate spirit form,
Burning as lightening catches me, electrifying fingertips,
Kissing in magnification,as spirit charged in justification,
Live to love another day, from whence pain came and went astray!

Magical Monday!

Woke from a dream,
Woken from a world of poetry,
While I was dreaming in my sleep,
Essence of a head of fantasies,
A fire of intuition,
A mindful blaze of paradise,
Laid in my fellow poets arms,
While waiting for the break of dawn,
Upon this Monday morn,
Both awake and putting pen to paper,
Now the two of us awake,
To look at love and magic make.

In your eyes I find the meaning of creation,
The making of poetry,
Filled with darkness,
Filled with love,
A messy misnoma,
From a dark heart full of tenderness,
Drawing pain from imagery,
Painting pain with blistered pen,
Sketching love with cherished words,
Adoring me inside your eyes,
Black eyes,
Very rare,
Your black eyes admit you care!

Last Breath!
Olivia Kent Jul 2013
The orphan cried,
In such a state of disarray,
Dashed in front of rushing truck,
A swerve without avoidance,
Collision inevitable,
Breath taken without second choice,

A hurried melee of vehicles,
Swept the innocent one up,
Carried him away,
Rushed into room, in a emergency of desperation,
ECG stated asystole,

Heartbeat without rhythm,
Chances lost for child without sin,
No saving child,
As moments of grace began,
Blinded in a manic panic,
From above his bed the child spied,
His body as his last moment died!

Spoils!
Olivia Kent Jul 2013
The spoils of war rip the souls from defenceless children leaving them unshielded,
No protection offered to innocents in a war torn world,
No safe haven in sight,
No light in the darkness, save the fires of hell as flashlight shells leave their harbour before they are corrupted as merciless killers on a rampant mission,

In a fright of bleeding fear, bloodied shredded as malignancy invades!
The children cower as they watch parents burned,
Tears drench ***** faces as the children sob,
The children cry eternally in turmoil of dark deaths memories,
Father is marched away to certain doom on battlefield of destruction, to a land from where none return!

From Me to You!
Olivia Kent Jul 2013
I am the love that longs to hold you,
I am the love to kiss you inside,
I am the love to hold your hand, while on the terror world you ride,
I am the love to feed your fire,
I am the sweet love to thrill your desire,
I am your lady dressed in black,
I am the one to keep you warm,
While nights are cold and the world is dark,
I am the one to soothe your brow,
I am the only child in time,
Who finds a place in plenty of rhymes,
I am one of several, who give you a reason,
To ride this harsh world through many seasons,
A reason for living,
A reason for giving,
For sharing and caring,
When tomorrow comes I can smile again,
Your touch will bless me and take away pain,
For in your arms I shall remain.

Thylacine!
Olivia Kent Jul 2013
Thylacinus Cynocephalus.
Tasmanian Tiger, Tasmanian Wolf,
A crepuscular hunting nocturnal beast,
Carnivore by nature, feasted upon wallaby, wombats and roos,
Caught by female of the species,
Was he a feline or a lupine beast, hyena perhaps,
No, this strange creature now probably extinct was marsupial with pouch,
Female with pouch to grow her young, male had pouch of his own,
Protected his crown jewels within a scrotal pouch,
Appearance of a stripy dog,
Looked rather like a tiger,
Had amber eyes filled with fire,
This diamorphic beast, (Means the chap was larger)
Had four toes on hind feet and rigid tail of kangaroo,
It's gait was rather odd,
Could move like kangaroo, if it so desired,
Strange call, a guttural sound, alerted his family when he was abound,
Shy secretive little creature,
Kept himself locked out of sight,
For in the late 188os, early 1900s these creatures had a bounty on their heads,
The bounty hunters had such fun, left our world with nearly none,
Last beast in the wild as noted, shot by gun by Mr Batty,
1936 the last captive creature died in Hobart Zoo,
Reported name was Benjamin,
Book called The Djin-jum Man, said man, Batty man maybe, was cursed for killing the last of their kin,
Poor things,
Living legacy remains,
On Tasmania's coat of arms, two of these fine beasts support the islands emblem,
Probably gone but never overlooked,
Still being sought but never found!

Heat
Olivia Kent Jul 2013
Kissed the heatwave goodbye at last,
All waving as she left,
While armies of black clouds amassed across the pinkish sky,
Manipulated by light tricks in the heavy glow,
Diminutive raindrops thickened as we danced,
Worshiping the shower of cooling joy,
We danced in celebration, in appeasment of Thor,
The world becoming more content,
The blazing fireball came and went,
Bedecked with paste of glory breeze,
Kissing all around,
The rain came dousing baking souls,
Chased heat into submission with electric fireballs,
Dots and dashes,
Nova flashes,
Thunder roared as lions purr,
Bodies relieved to breathe again,
Headache of oppressed airs' hatred,
Dissipated at last,
Sleep weighed heavily on the eyes of the sufferers,
'Til now at last with cooler skies and night wishes,
With rest they're truly blessed!

Now I've gone beserk!
Started it at seven,
Now gone half eleven,
Should have finished it by now,
Left it much too long,
I'm such a silly cow!
Will do some again in the morrow,
Lots more grief,
Loads more sorrow,
But despite it all,
Poetry still comes to call,
Goodnight ,
For work tomorrow,
Much love to one and all !

In a field of heaven's breath,
Conception from a love divine,

Where poppies red, peep through abundant,
Bathed in emotions loving hugs,
Tender touches tenderness in half light of the morn,
When a new child is created will soon enough be born!

Birds!
Olivia Kent Jul 2013
4 o clock in the morning,
Dawn is having a cracking time,
Swans flew overhead as I lay in my bed,
Heralding this morning bright with their noisy bugle call,
Some smaller birds are chirping,
Dancing through new life sounds,
Sound like minute crickets, listen, sound like they're having fun,
To early to be awake,
I say,
They woke me as they greeted day,
Tall dark tree in the garden is etched onto the sky,
Helping darkness disappear,
Last night escaped,
Make way for another charm filled day!

Work Tomorrow!
Olivia Kent Jul 2013
Sunday came,
She's leaving fast,
My days off nearly done,
For tomorrow my quill will rest a tad,
Until the evening comes,
Spent good moments writing,
Through the moments that I had,

In the morning after dawn breaks,
When work she calls me loudly,
The alarm shouts up,
Rudely in annoyance,
While waiting for my own obedience,
Off I dash again,
Virtually I sit and write,
Praying for refreshing rain,

I am dreading it,
For no doubt,
I shall sit and swelter,
Through this heatwave,
Such a belter,
I shall try to hide away,
While working through this hell fired day!
No chance of that I can't escape,
There is nowhere to hide,

I will be there with my sweet, sweet smile,
Despite the fact this heat is vile,
I will survive and soldier on until this awful,
Sunshine's heat is gone!
Great while lounging on the bed,
Otherwise this stifling heat,
Is making me feel dead!

The Sun!
Olivia Kent Jul 2013
As a stifling blanket she visited our world,
Covered us with golden smile,
We melt, somehow suffocating,
Near drowning in a saline drench,
Sister sun sent blessings to dress our blazing world,
Her power filled rays controlled man's gaze,
We live unprotected as pure skin is neglected,
Our eyes are blinded by her glare,
The sun is shining and most people have no cares,
Don't care was made to care,
Heat stroke grabbed them as their skin got really red!
Olivia Kent Jul 2013
He is my dark haired bad boy,
I'm his crazy lady,
We have fun running together,
Dancing in the midday sun,
Crossing the stream,
A summers day escaped from a dream,
His sister sun,
She smiles at him,
She smiles at me,
No greater love have I ever found,
He astounds me with sweet kisses that reach into my soul,
My one and only my sweet lover,
He makes me feel whole!

A response to the poem he wrote for me!

Mary Jane Kelly!
Olivia Kent Jul 2013
Mary Jane Kelly was maniac's final victim,
From land of Ireland she hailed,
Moved to Cymru when a child,
Mastered fluent Welsh,
Well to do family,
Gave her fair start,
Was reported by a friend,
By all accounts a buxom gal,
Five feet seven with eyes of sparkling blue,
Ginger hair maybe blonde ,
Skin gentle as the morning dew,
Fair of face or so they said,
When she had a drink or two,
Language would make the air turn blue,
Always wore an apron clean,
Never wore a hat,
Really into studies, artistic soul,
Caught in high class brothel,
From where she sold her soul,
Went to live in France awhile,
Wasn't very happy there,
Came back to her demise,
Poor thing,
Met a grisly end in her room,
Last captured sight was with a stout man in a bowler hat,
Showed a trace of ginger hair,
Seemed to be a gentleman,
A little out of place,
'Twas mentioned that the last sound Ms Kelly ever made,
Was in a song' A violet I plucked from Mother's grave when a boy',
A strange song to behold,
At four a.m, was heard a call ,
****** nobody reacted,
It was commonplace, in this area of town,

Mary's rent was overdue,
Rent collector called to collect his dues,
Greeted by the awful sight,
Poor Mary Kelly,
Torn to shreds,
In darkness killer burned her clothes to illuminate his crime,
The fires of hell he did ignite,
Upon that most disgusting night,
Sliced her, diced her,
Left her liver between her legs,
Propped her head up with one hewn breast,
The other breast left by her feet,
Severed her crichoid process, was unable to breath,
What a dreadful way to die,
Intestines laid piled as snake upon her right hand side,
Her spleen remained upon the left side,
What an evil individual he was,
Face was torn to ribbons, not of silk or satin,
Her nose, cheeks and eyebrows taken,
Lips were left unkissable ripped in bits as well,
Almost like autopsy began before the lady died,

Interred in Leytonstone, East 11,
St Patrick's Catholic Church,
Nov 19 1888, a lonely lady,
Suffered solo death and a solo funeral,
No trace of kin for sweet Mary Jane Kelly,
The youngest victim aged twenty five,
May she rest in peace.

Catherine Eddowes (KATE)
Olivia Kent Jul 2013
Sweet Catherine Eddowes,
Second lady one of two,
On a night of grisly finds in the square of the bishop's headdress,
In London's not so fair city,
On this the Sabbath's tragic night,
'Kate' tragic shrew was tamed, not by Petruchio,
This murdered lady from tragedy of night walk,
Tatooed lady, hazel eyes and fiery auburn hair,
Bonnet left on after death, protected her beautiful hair,
Perhaps the ripper cared,
Kate filled usually with vile temper,
Her temper not apparent on that sad night,
Appeared to put up no fight,
Her beautiful face was sliced to ribbons,
Cruelly disfigured by this evil,
Usually was a jolly gal, loved to sing and dance,

Unable to make a flight to escape the merciless wrath of this mystery man,
Carotid artery slashed and dashed,
No blood left on the ground,
Smeared foul faecal matter all around,
As ripping evil stole, her bowels,
Lain, like sleeping naturally ,
Still warm corpse discovered,
Fellow passing by saw a woman pass,
May have been her with a chap, fair haired, looking shabby,
Different description from the others,
Poor Kate left family of three behind,
A daughter and two sons,
The sun had set for the last time,
For their poor dear mother.
The forth ripper victim!

"Long Liz Stride"
Olivia Kent Jul 2013
A double entendre,
Two ladies of the night, killed on the Sabbath day, 30/08/1888,
Was an unlucky day for lady Liz,
A drinking wild cat
'Long Liz Stride',
Was the first lady of two to meet her end on this most vile night!
Five feet five, when was alive,
Had grey eyes and a curly mop,
Her vicious murderer did not stop,
Her throat was gouged, ripped and torn,
Maybe was a lycan,
I can only say,
I doubt that very much,
Murderer went on ***** harvest,
Took a kidney,
****** removed,
For 'tis said that her murderer may have got disturbed,
Murdered by Nemesis of such depraved neglect,
Never seen to show regret,
Teased and tormented Scotland Yard,
Long Liz was apparently dishonest in soul it seems,
Swedish by descent, not really very decent,
Tried to con her Swedish Church to get finance from a fib,
Poor Liz, had no understanding of what the bible said,
Sad lady Liz,
Well,did end up dead!

Some said was a dark man, dressed in class attire,
Others said he didn't care!

Annie Chapman, the maiden Smith,
******* daughter of a soldier born,
Parents entered joy of wedlock,
When ******* girl was still a baby.

Got married herself in 1869,
Had three children sweet,
First sweet daughter Emily,
Captured by meningitis bug,
Stole their eldest gal away,
Second child was a lad named John, born tragically disabled,
A third daughter born 1884 who ran away with the circus seeking some fun, when grown.

Marriage crumbled,
Due to sorrow,
Loss of daughter,
Destroyed all tomorrows,
Son was put into institution,
So they could not go on,
Drifted apart on a tide of drink,
Only way not to think,
Separated fell apart in 1884,

Lady 'Annie', with sorrowful heart and hair of brown,
Known as 'Dark Annie'
Maybe because she wore a frown,
She was the victim blessed with civility,
Until the drink contorted her,
Bending her mind,

Early as the daylight rose,
She had found a dark haired fellow,
Wearing deerstalker,
Maybe a friend of Holmes himself,
Although it's sadly doubted,
Probably a client, looking for her wares,

Body slain, lain on the floor,
Not far from her gate,
Throat slashed, viscera scattered around,
Coating her shoulders , with blood spattered dressings,

A neckerchief in situ,
Had he maybe provided a most unpleasant gift,
No financial donation for this poor lady,
Asphyxiation for the lady, she didn't take her daily pills,

Queer perhaps,
Her murderer knew what to do,
Maybe vile ****** man was medical in origin,
Some speculation hinted,
The ****** weapon was an autopsy knife!

This is the story of the second Jack the Ripper victim.

RIPPER
Olivia Kent Jul 2013
Stands tall in dark cloak.
Menacing shadow smacks the alleyway.
Wall dressed in gaslight.
A bag of tricks grasped in his hand.
To turn tricks of his own on night ladies.

The night ladies cackle in raucous laughter.
In the grasp of inebriation's smile.
A stallion bedecked in funeral regalia.
Waits impatiently for his return.
Heavy shod hooves heard scratching the flag stones.

Stallion awaits acknowledgement of death.
Death soon to approach the first sweet soul.
The first of five.
Sweet Mary Ann Nichols.
Throat unceremoniously slashed.
Her abdomen was broken too.
The work of the devil maybe.
Whitechapel August 1888
Was no place for a lady of the night to be.
Despite the chapel, in the name.
This was no religious lair.

Death!
Olivia Kent Jul 2013
Stood before us dressed in black,
Tempting us to enter his domain,
The stench of death is choking,
Heat enhances vileness,
Reach to find a bowl of foul ***** lurking acrid in our throats,
Suffocated by the the essence of death impending,
Scaring us, scarring our hearts with vicious razors edge,
He waits to invite us in,
Ushering us to join him.

However,
I stand and fight,
From the black cloud I evolve,
My wish is an eternity of dignity, light and life,
It won't happen for death will catch us us all in terminus,
Life is mere transition from A to B,
In love with life,
At last, I am having a ruddy blast,
Long may it last,
For my time is not now!

Wishes!
Olivia Kent Jul 2013
Held you when your body froze,
Bought you joy of warmth,
Released you when your body burned,
In its turmoil of scarlet heat.

Will send bottles full of wishes,
Laced with tragic kisses,
From silhouette of darkness,
I shall smack you with bright lights,
Hold your spirit in both hands,
Spread my love all over you,
All through the sands of time,

For now I found a love in you,
And in our poetry,
Wish it could be forever,
Hope that it will be,
Within my heart forever shall you dwell,
My love is carried by the dove of peace,
Versus your God of war,
In love as we dance under the stars,
A romantic pas-de -deux!

Sunshine!
Olivia Kent Jul 2013
Sunshine!

Incredible heat melts my soul,
Virtual peeling my scarlet skin,
Blisters erupt from vacant areas,
Undressed by sun creams,
A touch of sunlight so desired,
Now causing internal fires,
For so many,
For too long,

We all cried in sheer desperation for her solar blessings,
Now we are blessed, we cry as lobsters in a cooking ***,
Whistling, pretending we are enjoying this fractious tension of children crying as they can't cool down!

Irony in supposed joy,
At the sight of the sun for every burning girl and boy,
Everybody prays for rain to take away this fiery pain!

A weekend of wonderful words exchanged,
Words written on the bus to books being read,
To tales of ghosties and ghoulies and Poe,
In darkness and brightness,
Feeding two wordy heads,
As we rest in my bed,
Hard to believe that many will ever know,
The impact of words in poetry or prose,
Maybe I guess only you and I care,
Apart from our friends dotted everywhere,
One day soon we'll be together again,
To revel in words of pleasure and pain,
Until that sweet day, which won't be too long,
In our poetic hearts we both belong!

Traffic!
Olivia Kent Jul 2013
As swarm of aggressive multi-coloured ants,
Evening traffic charms the highway,
Eerie tree shadows haunt the carriageway at three o'clock,
Shadows will reconfigure and extend as time passes through the sundial of my trip,
This burning night, on the way to smoky city,
Inflames the melting tyres, smoking as if sticky molten caramel,
Bathes highway with red hot haze,
I jump as air conditioning, kicks in,
Conning me my journey's nearly done,
In the heat of the evening sun,
Wakes me from my slumbers doze,
Traffic slows through rush hour jams,
Dances,weaving lane to lane,
Through rush hour congestion's indigestion!

Battlefield!
Olivia Kent Jul 2013
Strewn across the battlefield a party of discarded heads,
Peeled, dripping as blood oranges,
Wrapped in a residue of wrinkled skin,
A ****** of crows circle over head,
Waiting to collect rich pickings,
Leftover lunch from the spoils of war!

Stench of evil fills the ***** air,
As a lone piper,
Plays his mournful lament of sorrow,
Deeply disturbed by unkind vision of sin!

I Feel Again!
Olivia Kent Jul 2013
An all consuming sense of passion,
Snatched me from the gates of hell,
In a symphony of moonlit mood,
Dressed in peach tranquility,
For I love you and you love me,
Your love is awesome,
A total delight,
During the daytime enjoying the nights,
For I am your woman,
Your sweet baby joy,
Every day smiles again,
As the sun dresses me in your heart,
Where as two sweet lovers,we will run always free,
In a salient dalliance, as you and I dance,
In some kind of magical crazy romance!

Frosted Fantasy!
Olivia Kent Jul 2013
In a fantasy garden bright,
Swathed with emerald fires shine,
Red,white and blue with cobalt's hue,
Laying peaceful while sleep protects a blistered soul,
Charred by memories treason's,
Bathed now,
Soothed,
Languishing in realms of rest,
Escape from realities domain,
Sit, relax,
Listen as she recounts a tragedy of fractured pain,
Captured pain on fragile tongue,
Wash the pain away,
When tragedies past,
A sacred sweet elixir!

In a subtle silent flight of symmetry dancing,
Carried through the air,
Flighty swirling in fanciful ballet steps,
Dusted wings must remain untouched,
Human handshake will **** the blessed butterfly,
As she maybe flutters by,
The Psyche of the butterfly,
Her heart, her soul combined,
When she met Eros, became afraid that her night time husband may be an ugly monster,
As in legend so mentioned Psyche had three lovely sisters,
Sisters coerced her to breach his trust,
For him,
To stay in darkness was a must,
A revelation for she did discover that her husband was a luscious lover,
In gorgeous form,
Blessed with wings,
She woke him from his dark night sleep,
As breach of trust by curiosity,
He took of her his leave,
Flew off into the night,
Left forever by her beautiful butterfly!

When I was Little!
Olivia Kent Jul 2013
Once I was a tiny being,
I entered this fair world with nothing,
Changed environment with clockwork regularity,
Things changed from dancing to crying,
And crying to dancing daily,
Walking on dusty pavements,
Through summer's heat,
While waiting for torrential tears to wash away another day,

I grew and flourished,
True love nourished,
Found the gift of education,
Enable poetry's vocation,
I wrote a poem at the zoo,
When I was rather small,
Was about a cat,
Will always remember that,
A competition entry,
The youngest person there,
Came second was delighted,
Got so excited,
Looking back I realise,
That when all else is lost,
Writing out feelings is my best means of escape,

A good few years later,
My father left the mortal coil,
I didn't know him very well,
Given an envelope full of joy,
He too had been a poet,
Although I didn't know it,
Must have been inherited,
The only legacy I got,
That's not laced with regrets!
