Spirits!
Olivia Kent Jul 2013
In the darkness they lurk,
The shadows of deceased in spirit form,
Wandering through darkness looking for soul salvation,
Life had been no blessing for these tragic mortals,
Was a lifetime of night times nightmares,

There was no love,
An intrepid raven shouts abysmally,
Playing an off beat funeral dirge of his own,
An omen that evil ran amok,
Hidden out of sight,

A scream rang out,
Bloodcurdling howls
Fulfilling the very air,
Thick, dank,
Stench of rotten death,

From the depths of this despair,
Came forth a good soul,
Sweeping the filth from the cavern,
To be cleansed by the fresh spring waters,
Lain undiscovered for millennia,

The wind whirled through these vile caverns,
Propelling freshness through the dark air,
Darkness diffusion infiltrated with sunlight sparkles,
The good soul made incantations of peace,
Blessing the dark spirits,

Enabled them to rest in peace.

Today!
Olivia Kent Jul 2013
The morning arrives,
Laced with blood streaked tears,
These tears of acid bubble,
Scarring my cheeks as they fall,
Toxic ripples,
Flowers drooping in death throws,
While they are waiting on death row,
To be discarded, fed back to mother earth,
To replenish soils,
From spoils of war,
To nourish, enrich and nurture nature,
Transition through life's pathway,
Hell is just another day!

Wrapped in cloak of darkness,
Heart concealed by tragedy past,
In a subtle tragic denial.
Encased in vibrant dance!

A smile from my heart broken,
Up for repair,
On the way to zenith,
For why do the daughter's question in denial,
That an adult heart can't give or receive love!
They have a chance of new love of their own,

For they cannot see that my mind is truly blown,
Infant daughter tho you care,
Steal your thoughts from my hair,
Let me breathe again,
Please darling children,
'Tis about time to let me fly,

He!
Olivia Kent Jul 2013
He!
He!

He is a gentle man,
A mystery,
Lays behind me in his bed,
Barely words are spoken,
But,will be written down instead,
In naked forms tranquility,
He lays his body next to me upon his bed,
total blessing from this soul is truly heaven sent,
Guards himself with folded arms,
Protecting only beauty's soul,
For he is awesome wonder,
Laying peaceful in the land of sleep before my very angel eyes,
Using folded arms as protection for his body beautiful,
Body beauty bestowed appeals to me,
Beckoning me with a subtle smile of it's own!

Passion fires,
Love inspires,
From in the pits of diamond mines,
Sparkling,
Showering awe inspired gems,
For all the world revealed,
Drifting in my fellow poets mind,
Love is true, but truly blind!
Bound in chains of love's disaster,
From here until the never after!

Cruel Words!
Olivia Kent Jul 2013
Vicious words are weapons designed to compel the weakest sweetest hearts,
To destroy with tips of honed steel,
Sharp as a wicked raw tongue,
To bite deep into the hardest bone,
To **** the zest from gentle hearts,
Corrupting evil minds with sharpness,
Vicious are the non thought out utterances,
Soul shredding,
Destroying all but the hardest hearts,
Glass hearts shatter, nylon hearts melt, sand hearts crumble,
Pure hearts die too soon!

A Touch, My God a Touch too Much!

You kiss me,
I trickle,
Kiss the velvet underground,
I shake, I shiver, quivering when involuntary spasm drowns,
Besotted drenched in wails,
Kissed with lust filled love inside,
Ripples riding loves floes,
Cream dripped,
Smiles,
This pussycat is satisfied!

As emotion wells,
Love's insane,
Hung on a crucifix of past captured pain,
Released,
Uncontrolled,
Non-compliant while in wild nightmares,
Darkness touches passion flower enlightened soul!

Wolf!

Laid upon his bed,
Awake,
Hark,
Sound of confusion screeching,
Canines bared,
Salivating,
In divine thought of snaring prey,
For he is in sadistic need,
No sadism,
Only burning passion,
In need of resuscitation by nourishment,
Satisfied by the latest lamb who greeted slaughters gate!

The Hooker!
Olivia Kent Jul 2013
Make up in fake facade,
Encased with insignificance,
All she wants is money,
For fun maybe,
Or to feed her rabid habit,
In short skirt and makeup,
She'll dance for the pennies you throw and maybe more,
A heart of gold,
Dressed purely as sad *****,
Will show her goods and chattels for a moment out of time,
May drift in to a world of tragedy,
Labelled as a crime,
She may not find a reason and I guess she cannot rhyme.
She'll do nothing for you unless you pay for time!

(And no this is not me, it's just a poem!)

A Heart!
Olivia Kent Jul 2013
Catch a beating heart and keep it in your pocket,
Keep it very safe and warm,
Never ever lock it,
Massage it well and keep it snug,

Wrap it up in velvet,
Treat it tenderly,
Then when you no longer need it,
You must set it free,

Give to your lover,
When he starts to melt,
Take his heart in return,
And wrap it up in felt.

Two darling hearts become entwined,
In body, and in mind,
A dream perchance,
That no greater love you'll ever find!

Starring Roles!
Olivia Kent Jul 2013
Mr Earth meets Madame Fire,
A stable man of intellect,
Charisma very much intact,
A logical fellow,
Manners of perfection noted,
Meditating on his issues,
Sometimes rather pessimistic,
Very sensual,
Rather ****** by design,
Tested waters thoroughly,
Before strolling into my bright light,
Not giving into love initially,
Can feel jealousy bite,
But **** he won't admit it,
There was another poet born on his special day,
Philip Levine, poetry must be written in the stars,

Madame Leo,
So dramatic,
Writes with mental pen of magic,
An uncomplicated soul,
Like him, She strives to be the best,
Loves to take central place in his affection,
Offers adoration as well as admiration,
This strong honest leader,
Likes to dominate,
With patience in care,
A masterpiece in passion,
This leonine lady will cross the ocean to find him,
So she can share her tender touch,
Whenever the time is right,
A four star combination with lots of light hearted love!

Universe!
Olivia Kent Jul 2013
Around 93 million miles from darling precious mother Earth,
First appeared glory sun,
In ecliptic stroll,
She'll orbit through her universe,
Dances past Mercury,
Stops for no party,
Cos this planet's party's lacking atmosphere,
Scally-wag sun scoots by Venus,
Burning hot herself,
Shining brightly in the darkness,
Phosphorescent glow,
Hesperus, the evening star, first one to be seen at night,
Phosphorous the morning star, the last planet to bid us goodnight,
When the morning comes in sight
Our lady home is next in line,
A planet rich with all life's treasures,
Mars she sits quietly dressed in red,
Has no water, not sure if she's always been dead,
Jupiter, has severe acne, shown in one red spot immense, she has no atmosphere, what gas she has is toxic, ammonia, methane, hydrogen,
The biggest baby of them all,
Saturn wears no wedding rings, has bands of ice particulate skirting round it's girth,
Uranus not much to say, he hangs around in space all day, as the Greek God of the sky,
Watching as the other world's go by,
Neptune, Roman God of the seas in planet form,
Pluto, chilled, the coldest one of all.

I hope you enjoyed this, it was extremely hard to write!!

A world of wonder blessed my eyes,
For at first vision,
A shock of lightening,
Electrified my heart,
With all the blessings he'd disguised,
Hidden far in his dark heart,

Stolen kisses escaped,
Ventured from the dark,
While on a glory summer's day as we went strolling through the park,
A fantasy, a dream come true,
When I met one as cool as you!

50 Nearly!
Olivia Kent Jul 2013
O my goodness had a thought,
Just a few days til I leave decade four,
Scary thought,
I'm feeling that five is so much more,
Kissed my forties wildly,
Fifty may be scary!

Guess for now,
I must savour the flavour of having number four in front,
Instead of five,
For I'm alive, and joy is mine,
I sip life's wine,
For five and twenty days,

Until the dreaded fifty hits me on the head,
With lots more love and kisses,
Before I'm rendered dead!

The Wild Park!
Olivia Kent Jul 2013
In a vague and hazy love song,
We're dancing in the dark,
Where flower bands and garlands,
Are skipping round my head,
Where fairies kiss me on the ears,
To chase away my tragic fears,
To make wild magic of their own,
In wilderness land,
Such luscious bounty found.

Lain in the park under the oak,
Looking at the sky,
You and I, Thee and me,
Laid beneath that ancient tree,
The bees were crowding round the bark,
Having their own sweet party in the park,
The sky was bright,
Came out of dark,

Wandered through the wild garden,
Beauty seen before my eyes,
A combination poppies and veg,
All laid in the flower bed,
Foxes left their gloves behind,
So hum drum people can find,
Some very strange and weird plants,
So beautiful I'm tranquilised,
In this garden of romance!

Sweetheart!

Sweetheart!

He is my sweetheart,
Stepped from a lasting dream,
Endured many months of witchery,
Shared between him and me,

No witchery really,
Just hugs,
Laced with loving feelings,
And very tender touch,
Poetry together,
That is just so cool,
Two very different styles,
That blend so well as one.

Your kisses hit with music taste,
As we're stumbling round the floor,
You with perfect rhythm,
Me with none at all,
You roll up laughing at my ridiculous attempts,
Guess what honey,
I suffer no offence,
For I know my sense of rhythm never dared exist,

Until the joy of knowing you,
Don't know what I've missed,
With you I never realised,
How much of me you've kissed!

Sadness!

Sadness!

Sitting in a daydream,
While waiting in the purple haze,
Why on earth can I not escape, this ****** awful maze,
A maze where darkness lives and dies,

All I hear, unearthly hum,
The beating of the kettle drum,
The listeners are screaming on,
Hear an unholy din,

Fighting crazy battle, that I can never win,
No matter how the fighting goes, it runs eternally,
Battle stations flying flags,
Tagged with golden edges,
Balancing precariously on bleeding ledges,

This 50 year old funny bird is learning how to fly,
A fledgling in new flight,
Release my wings to fly away,
Let me live to breathe again,
To escape the mundane dirge,
Release my spirit,
Let me purge,

Trapped in nightmares,
Wanting passion,
Almost more than life itself,
I live the life cos I have too,
Very little choice.

Stuck in situ,
Lost in space,
Put a smile back on my face,
You're probably the only one who can!

(YEP, I'M TALKING ABOUT POETRY)!

Sorrow!

Sorrow hangs like earrings, tugging at my neck,
Sadness is a necklace, it's choking me to death,
My crowning glory diadem weighs nearly half a ton,
Since I hit the battle that I never ever won,

Depression is a dancer,
Full in battle dress,
Pink and purple paint splats,
I really am a mess,

Sunshine and glory days,
Will come and give me grace,
True love will come and slap me,
Right around my face,

In metaphoric ways of course,
With all this heavy metal worn,
I'm getting rather hoarse!

Warming Up!

She speaks to thee in words,
Not of spoken type,
She talks to thee in poetry,
Then you come to dance with me,
A blend of vexations mischief mixed,
The black heart is being fixed,

Slow puncture so deflated,
Very slowly trickles out,
The blood runs warm,
Although her heart is cold,
Sour blood dissolved through water's edge,

In a dizziness of fashion,
Her life is full with passion rich,
Magic from two crazy pens,
When you and she will meet again,
To write of nature, love and pain!

'She walks in beauty' as 'a phantom of delight,'
The one evicted from his darkest night,
Her' raven' hair draped around her shoulders,
Laying next to him in 'silken tent',
Wanted just 'a slice of wedding cake'
Her beautiful spirit captured,
Sent to early sorrows death by 'solitary reaper',
Taken on' May- day',
She was the' light of living days',
Before tragically taking her 'survivor's leave'
He left her for another,
Took another younger lover,
It was their wedding cake,
She so desired,
It was to be their wedding day,
Before her heart he did thou break,
Her life was stolen,

The sun rising before she flew away,

To rest in peace.

Loving You!

Love she holds a trumpet,
Which fills the world with joy,
Such a fantastic sound,
As she raises her love banners,
Ornate in wondrous glory,
Red and white profound,
Feeling blown away,
As love is all around,
Perhaps another fairy story,

Unfurl those flags of treasure,
Spread them high through turquoise skies,
Darts of sweet love's fireflies,
Skittish through the twilight,
In a slow dance we waltz,
Loving's such delight,
When the other's lovely,
And when the time is right!

Shadow Man!

Shadow Man

In love with the shadow man,
Lurking in dark corners ,
Has no need for light,
In chains lashed,
As daylight dashed,
Nocturnal man of night's kiss,
Hides in land of night wish,

She is out in daylight,
Watches when she sleeps,
Holds her softly,
When through night- time,
As she sleeps,
He safely keeps her beauty,
Treasured in his heart,

He is no night monster,
As many would believe,
He is not enhanced by darkness,
When other shadows weave,
Engulfing him in their tapestry,
Within arms of despair,
I fall at your feet,
I'm a little lost,
A touch abandoned,
By my shadows mournful curse,
Think about me tenderly,
For I will always be there!

Night!
Olivia Kent Jun 2013
In the night garden,
Brambles scar at heart and mind,
The roses bear no thorns,
The buddlea, no butterflies borne,
Metamorphosis into night light moths,
Beetles become fireflies,
Dancing round the fairy heads,

The ***** screams,
Portraying portents of doom,
While creeping beneath the glowing moon,
Dry brush wood cracks at winds intent,
Hedgehog spikes,
Tom cat hunts,
Queen lady calls,
She is his feline lover,
One of many,
Ladies in his life,
She'll give him many babies,
Never be his wife.

Garden of darkness a surreal place,
In daylight she will hide her face,
No nightmare in her freedom space!

Like some crazy diamond,
My carbon's only coal,
Stuck in darkness forest,
This pretty little soul,

Lustre's lost, so much lacking,
Only gravity sets my feet safely on the ground,
Start becoming lost again,
Then I find I'm found,

Feelings fixed with nylon thread,
Melting, stuck inside my head,
With velvet tongue,
He spoke,

My heart he kissed with tender words,
They dripped right from his tongue,
He blows away the darkness,
He turns it into sun.

My Room!
Olivia Kent Jun 2013
A box dressed in a brightness,
An odd shade of virescence,
Bright green in spoken tongues,
Miniscule, no room to swing a cat within,

Completely piled high,
With lots of this and that,
So full up with furnishings,
There's little room to move,
If you came to visit me,
You never would approve

My room is so ancient,
She has more cracks in her painted skin than me,
A trio of holes hurt her face,
Where my daughter once hung her T.V,

The air brick on the inside is blowing in the wind,
A fellow nurse stands on my T.V,
She has a better job than me,

Egyptian deities in cymbals (symbols),
Make noises in my head,
They're sat on the cabinet on the bright side of my bed,

Was laying in my bed as I penned this in draft,
For this is my safe private haven,
She is heaven blessed!

How?
Olivia Kent Jun 2013
How do I write a love song,
When I look into dark eyes,
Eyes filled with sorrow's marks,
When I look into those eyes,
Missing fire's sparks,

How can we dance a tango,
When we're dancing all alone,
How can we have a party,
When we're always on our own,
How can I hold you,
When we're so far apart,

How can we do darkness,
When I'm pure and truly light,
Darkness I paint better,When I'm miserable as sin,
Darkness you paint wonderfully,
It's running through your skin

Superficial bubbles,
Fizz of pink champagne,
Punctured with a safety pin,
Time to trip and skip,
To sit in long grass,
Dreaming for hours,
Courted, clouds unreachable,
Seen the stars,
Stretched up reached  them,
To feed them to your eyes,
To make you smile again!

Gives me love, without a doubt,
While white rose feeds tranquility,
With jot humility,
Tells me we are heavenly,
For your love,I do surrender,
All my feelings truly tender.
A mix of red and white, tell of unity,
A pink rose,
Such treasure,
A friend from my heart,
Poetic memories of happiness,
While we are apart,
Yellow roses paint my joy,
Screaming out remember me,
Should you perchance
Find me a rose of lavender,
Enchanted in beauty's frock,
May a spell be conjured for love at first sight,
Until the day black roses catch me,
When death courts this enchantress,
The writing will go on.
Will leave a legacy of life and love behind!

She stood tall,
Slender,
Flamboyant as she swirls,
Encapsulating dreams while dancing,
In a come-die ballet, from times evaporation,
Playing hysterics in magical fire dance of ritual celebrations,
Playing games of passion creations,
Such beauty in an aura of pleasure and pain,
In rigaudon she pastes her grace,
For she is not a dancer,
For she is my quill,
The dancing pen removes my ills.

Ribbons ripped by fragments,
Of blown sand in cordate form,
A heart made out glass!

Emotional Body!
Olivia Kent Jun 2013
A body encases a heart and a mind,
No simpler answer could you ever find,
Look deeper inside,
What lurks within,
Beneath a mantle of silken skin,
Skin with a face that sports a smile,
With eyes that twinkle, sparkles sprinkled,
Some have tresses that glow in the light,
Under the hair, the location of care,
The seat of emotions, locked up in a head,

A neck, slender supports along with a spine,
Arms to hold close, to cosset and care,
Rib cage encases the heart of poetic art,
The heart when she functions, is easily broken,
When love falls apart, it cuts through the heart,

A series of chemical interactions,
Disturbed a great deal by other's reactions,
Bodies are beautiful temples,
A place to retreat,
Bodies need pampering to keep them sweet,
So look after yours well,
Treat it kind,
Respect your body,
Respect your mind!

A Love Poem!!

Intoxicated on the reminiscent spice of love laying dormant in a heart of natural golden hue,
Love is skinned in pelt of glory flowers as morning glory rises,
Rising to the heights of passions' kiss for an eternal dance,
To endure love through hours awake, until the joy of sleep doth take,
Stroke a spine with satin touch ,
Fingertips party dancing in cordate motion,
Aching feet soothed with soft massage, in unspoken message of love!

Hello!
Olivia Kent Jun 2013
Left my head in a cotton wool cloud,
Drizzle bathes my hair,
A halo of warmth exuded,
Sensibility is too elusive,
Thoughts and indecision bind my head, blinding my eyes,
Pink ribbons strap my heart to my sleeve,
Not mad, not really mental,
Sentiment got me,
I can't fight anymore,
Put my banners down,
Folded them up and stashed them away,
Don't want my pasted frailty revealed,
I hide under toadstools,
To avoid my own toxicity,
A ***** mess of misted glasses,
Can't see the wood for the trees,
The trees have more insight than me,
The grass whispers to my heart,
Telling me I'm gonna be alright,
I'm not sure, I don't feel right!
I wish I did, lost between here and there,
Lost, maybe I'm not anywhere,
I really don't care!
Poetry is my outlet, my way of escape,
Crushed, squashed like a superficial grape!

Secrets!
Olivia Kent Jun 2013
It is the evening of my darkest day,
The day after yesterday,
Preceding tomorrow,
When reality bites with jagged teeth,
Oh my goodness is this real,
Hopefully bring no more sorrow,
A fantasy, no big deal,
Or so she thought,
A question upfront without admission,
Only omissions,
Admitted in rash moments of indiscretion slips,
In a weird weir of tumbling issues,
As tears fall bi-laterally,
Caught in fragile cobwebs mesh,
Sticky,  so they can't escape!
Poetry is his, she is mine also,
Have craved all day for a room,
In which I can deposit my pleasure,
Sharing gifts is our greatest asset,
Him, in mode of ebony,
Me, bathed with angels lights,
Normal MO,
Such a joy to behold,
At the moment roles reversed!

Secrets!
Olivia Kent Jun 2013
It is the evening of my darkest day,
The day after yesterday,
Preceding tomorrow,
When reality bites with jagged teeth,
Oh my goodness is this real,
Hopefully bring no more sorrow,
A fantasy, no big deal,
Or so she thought,
A question upfront without admission,
Only omissions,
Admitted in rash moments of indiscretion slips,
In a weird weir of tumbling issues,
As tears fall bi-laterally,
Caught in fragile cobwebs mesh,
Sticky,  so they can't escape!
Poetry is his, she is mine also,
Have craved all day for a room,
In which I can deposit my pleasure,
Sharing gifts is our greatest asset,
Him, in mode of ebony,
Me, bathed with angels lights,
Normal MO,
Such a joy to behold,
At the moment roles reversed!

People Watching!
Olivia Kent Jun 2013
Darting as ants through the city of their queen,
Flashing their smiles are they rush,
Creeping through silent passages furtively,
As mandatory predators waiting for the ****,
Obscure collection of people hurrying between the pollutant fumes,
Mother snatches angel child's arm while dashing for the bus,
Old boy chokes on a wasted ****, discarded from another's lips,
She was sat upright on the 185,
She slumbered, in tranquility's dreamland,
Poor thing, laid across the spoils of her trip,
She did not wake,
The back floor of the bus awash with *****'s stench,
She was young,
Tried to wake her, without even a hint of a flicker behind her fatigued eyes,
Sorrowful, I felt as I  left her on the bus to her tide of ***** flow!

Facade!
Olivia Kent Jun 2013
A heart constructed of pure gold,
Enriched with touch of charity,
Finesse is locked behind her eyes,
Touch her with love,
She's petrified,
In her life there is no clarity,
Walking in a crowded place,
Panic set asunder,
Head filled with unkind sorrow,
So very cruel,
Tears flowed as she rushed,
Drowning her face,
Her strained facade,
It's raining tears,
Gasping in a hoarse world,
Trying to catch maybe last breath,
It obviously wasn't,
The lady with the heart that's crushed!

Buttercups Diversify!

In peach tinted temple of time,
Painted in poetry's dreams,
We kiss, we talk, we ,
Writing leisure through pleasure and pain,

I laid on your bed,
You bathed my shoulders so sore,
Left me smouldering with desires for you,
You donated to me, while we played in daylights sweet kiss,
A sweet single bright buttercup,
Dressed in waxen yellow,
Precious petals sparkling, shining ,
Glowing in the afternoon, after laying on the the spiky dry grass,
After dancing had passed,

A garden full of dreamers dressed in pink and white, blessed with fragrance, pure.
Collected from a century of rose tree,
The tree had seen much over the years about a century I was told,
Witnessed bombings in the blitz,
Watched mother's father's children's kiss,

Flowers of such beauty, dressed with a drizzle of love's sensation tickles,
As the dance goes on!

Work!
Olivia Kent Jun 2013
******* strangled.
Stuck insitu.
Trapped, however, not here.
Reminded of pain in, inadequacy's bite,

Blight as rot set in.
Capability dismissed, in a glower of scorn's disgust,

Such hatred presented in vermillion cloak.
Pain treads in disdain.
While silently creeping on razor wires.
As claret, corrupts the continuum.

Heart lifted from inferior, interior in abject ultimatum.
Massacred,all alone.
As vacated bull s**t lied.

In spite.
Chastised for an ailments grip.
Neck grasped by financial retributions.
Shoulders ripped as as grown gnaw.

Earthly bowels became despondent.
Driving into dissident republic.
Rebellion kicks back in sheer stupidity.
Resistance is negligible.
Ornate,as glory spans visions scope.
Seriously, little hope left in my unsatisfied work!

Angel!

This dark man,
He's wrapped in angel wings,
My feet collected, swept away,
Universal in escape from reality's nightmares,
As we float, traversing a million miles of skyscape,
In his safe protection,
I'm relaxing safe in angel arms,
Such glorious freedom to fly.

Hubble Bubble
Olivia Kent Jun 2013
Crouching over bubbling cauldron,
Laced with essence of dark arts,
Dark arts of untrue lovers lies,
Kissing once fake lips,
For I do not despise,
For I now realise that his lips never lied,
'Tis not him,
Nor is it me,
Never denied!
Ferocity of dreams appeal,

Cauldron spilled in sulphurs stench,
Essentially clears,
When,She as metamorphosis,
Dressed in sweetness' scented hazy mist,
Provoked a vicious love spell,
To trap him in her power filled world,
A world of wishing wells,
Revealed, the effect of her luscious sorcery upon his sweet black heart!

Dark Flowers!
Olivia Kent Jun 2013
Dark flowers strewn before my path,
His darkness bled,
All forlorn, indiscriminate,
For hereby ,I do declare,
He lies in front of me,
Dying in an uncertain truth of pain,
Truth speaks loudly in visual imagery,
For my lover this the last moment where I can kiss his pain adieu,
He cries despairing in an agony of the care that I have donated to his painful body and caring soul,
For in my sorrow I believe, that when I leave,
My last kiss for him will be goodbye,
Why did our love happen, oh so late,
So why now when we found each other, is illness in control,
For now, as your love is not denied, where mine's always been there!

Speech!
Olivia Kent Jun 2013
Speech

Chaos forced out, while stupidity smiles loudly,
Shouting in brittle delight,
Fractious unbroken anxiety smacks,
Abrupt is what wishes once desired,
Dialect of dreams devotion,
In hazy frosted sponges dusted in icing sugar trims,
Brimming Sweetness blowing flustered in blasts of summer,
Audacious in feral vile violence,
While the song remains the same!

Need for Sleep!

Need for Sleep.

I sit,
Sleep stolen from mine eyes needs,
How wonderful to sit in land of dreams awake,
'Tis such a ***** of blood fuelled scorn,
Mine eyes with wakefulness adorned,
A man who writes, keeps me alive,
When blessed sleep, somehow evades my gentle lids,
When your true love , he so forbade,
A haze of fashionable discretion snatches,
Life catches me stabs my heart,
Bleeding her dry,
Poetry stabs mine,
In writing his art as true love binds!

Laying with Chris!
I'm laying in bed with the man of my dreams,
He is kissing my soul with his pen,
I hold him,
I love him,
Feel so content,
Wearing my heart on my opened up sleeve!
A lovely man with a heart to treasure,
A spritely defiant soul!
Who's only breath is special saved in heart for me!
So glad to be here,
I hold him so close,
I have nothing to
fear,
He holds me tight in his head,
Long may it last!

Death Versus Dying!
Olivia Kent Jun 2013
The joy of death is courting you,
I pray that she can't catch you,
As pungent death stench surrounds you,
Fills your nostrils as they flare,
Remember this world is full of richness,
She  the lady poet,
Really dearly cares,

Wait until the time is right,
Lock deaths chains of mania,
Safely out of  sight and mind,
Amid the chaos that you find,
Clocks tick melancholic funeral dirge,
A beat of their own,
In a harmony of discordant sorrow,
Carried on the winds of change!

Superstitious!
Olivia Kent Jun 2013
Three dead birds on highway squashed,
Roadway washed with corpses discarded as carrion,
To be chewed upon by companions in a world of brothers,
In a world of blood and guts,
A lone magpie was seen,
A sure purveyor of doom,
Gloom and sorrow,
For birdies splattered,
No tomorrow,
Perhaps they saw him too,
Didn't show him due respect,
They'll never know if they had regrets!
