The fallow field
the desert in my mind
the wind that blows
renders me blind

No crops no life
just dust and weeds
into this barren landscape
my inspiration bleeds

The smell of the inert
lays heavy in the air
amidst the inhospitable
I am chained to a chair

The soil the earth
these misty plains of misconception
microbes of madness mutate
tumbleweed tightens the anticipation

No creatures roam
the rivers dry bed
and as forests die
their screams fill my imploding head

A green pasture oasis
a summer rainfall to tease the synapses
right before my tired eyes
the hallucination perfectly collapses

The fallow field
the vastness within
no sooner does it end
then it starts to begin

Life in a single grain of sand
It can fall so easily
From an open hand
Under our feet
The reason the rhyme
Clouds disperse
Just in time
Surrounded by the sound
Of nothing but air
My life, my worries
I have no care
Immersed into the blue
My soul does shine
That grain of sand
A jagged line

Is there a McDonalds in heaven
Or has Starbucks stolen the slot
Does Microsoft truly rule the world
And are you wondering if a pizza chain wants to buy your burial plot

Religion, the shackles
You wear upon your wrists

Ruled by Gods
With iron fists

Like slaves you are chained
To all you believe

Sold  to a system
Preaching to deceive

A global weapon
Of mass destruction

Breeding hatred and fear
Based around an idealistic instruction

The ultimate tool
For the ultimate fool

Conformity through manipulation
With the power of segregation

The greatest story ever to be told
A deadly reality so easily sold

I dont mean to impose
but lets for a moment suppose,
that with the power of stealth
the world could redistribute
its phenomenal wealth

Away from those of  selfish greed
into the hands of  those
who so desperately need.
For all that is financially made
how many innocents are so easily betrayed

A strange day it would be
if we all could see
the self- righteous rich pay a hefty cost
for all the souls they have tossed
further into a world of dismay
where to beg borrow or steal
seems to be the only way

That old saying
it always stands
money being the root of all evil,
and it lines the hands
of those who want to achieve for themselves
so much more,
for those who are left,
survival is a rapidly closing door

The world wants to see,
a failure made of me,
a person who just blurs into the distant beyond, conveniently from this planet decides to abscond,
by whatever means, with honour and pride,
taking with me septic schemes,
my reincarnation of despondent dreams,
intrepid aspirations,
idealistic idiosyncracies of a profound desire of peace unity and blissful silence for a saddened and maddened world of white noise,
chaotic confusion reigns,
our souls it employs

Big wheel turning
What are we  learning
The world is changing
Our thoughts we are exchanging
In their place, fear, paranoia, intolerance
A world surrounds us, full of incompetence
Travel to experience, to inhale the sufferance
Paying more attention now to your own irrelevance
Your life, is it really yours
No rest till you finish your chores
Subscribe at will to the daily wars
Suffer some more under restrictive laws
Technology the new master of destruction
Subliminal and seemingly effective its intoxicating instruction
Individuality now a global condemnation
Conformity comes hand in hand with your confirmation
On the path of least resistance  the powers that command reside
Their piety pains me from the inside
Fragmented and scarred beyond recognition, the human race now runs to hide
Taxes paid and the message relayed, to so many , the truth is denied,
