Tension...
There they sit
In silence
Tension building
Difficult pretense
Not to tear
One another apart
Clothes off
Becoming one heart
Beating wildly
Instincts attacking
Passion not withholding
Like a hacker hacking
Past the firewalls
Broken down
From the feelings strong
Cannot drown them
With none other than fiery moans
Embracing their souls
In the night not drones
Of life's monotonous
Day in day out
Blazing a heat trail
Love's route
They'll soon
Envelop their desires
Feed this kindling
In their bodies bonfires
At the shores of their
Seemingly hidden intent
Once they let themselves
Go find if it was meant
To be or not to be,
Friends to the world
But lovers behind
Their doors, herald
To the truth of what
Cannot be denied
In the midst of this
Urban jungle defied...

Caught...
Have you ever thought
That maybe;
I wanted to get caught,
Wanted to
Break your heart
You certainly
Played your part,
Followed your intuition
But I wasn't
Practicing inhibition,
Staying out
Till the morning,
Coming home
To you sitting
There mourning,
The loss of
Our once upon a time
Fairy tale start
Turned **** like a lime,
Shattered looking glass;
Can't bring it back,
Listen to the jazz
Playing softly
In the background
Do you really think
I want to go another round?
Made the exit crystal clear
For you to leave my dear,
I had left the building already
Fire exit
I set off all the alarms
But you chose
To ignore it all
Like one dismisses
A blocked ID call,
I'm immune to your charms;
Just leave me be,
I'm no longer your teddy...

Free Falling...
She's got
Too many strings
Tangled, cannot tell
Where they lead
She's pulled
This way and that way
Some play the puppeteer
Controlling her emotions
Decisions; her fears and desires;
She reached out
For something to cut with,
I caught her hand
And she grabbed a hold,
But her baggage
Was heavy with many things,
She couldn't
Get a foot hold to be freed,
What she hid away
I cannot say
As I tried
To get behind the dark veneer
Hiding her past;
Limiting my options
Trying to sort through
The signals and wires
Revealing only more
A mystery more a myth
Like an investigator
Following a lead gone cold;
My grip slipping
I questioned my resolve
To let go
Or give her time to evolve
From a defenseless bloom;
To a thorned rose
Out of the gloom
Destined to be
Her own operator
Clamping the brakes
On her free falling elevator...

Off the Lot...
I'll love you
From silky smooth
To wrinkled,
From sane
To senile,
I'll love you
From sandy blonde or brunette
To ashen grey or balding white,
From twenty/twenty
To glaucoma,
I'll love you
From hushed whispers
To hearing aids,
From skips and hops
To rascal scooters,
I'll love you
From fast food and coke
To ensure and depends,
From broken fingernails
To fractured hips,
I'll love you
From baby boy
To great grandchildren,
From skydives
To rocking chairs,
I'll love you
From glitter
To pill reminders,
From off the lot
Until rusted into the ground,
I'll love you
From now
To forever,
From hello
To the grave...

Flawed...
She's beautifully flawed
Imperfection
Deserving applaud
Beaten down and broken
But still
Someone's lucky token
Perfect at a glance
But give her a chance,
She'll disappoint you
Her sadness will make you blue,
Thinking she was a challenge,
Spur a chase
Her dignity avenge;
But she's not
An exclusive prize
Like anyone else
She breaks down and cries,
Someone's already
Knocked on her door
And broken in
Divulged the folklore
Cracked her
Like a fortune cookie
She's no longer a mystery
Accessible to all
Accepting any collect call
Hold her up to the light
And see the dings and scratches
You can sand and buff
And you just might
Bring out the gloss;
See how the sunlight still catches...

A Fool was I...
Precious stones
Amount to plenty,
Found in places
Far and deep unknown,
Whilst I searched
For that one jewel that would
Place a twinkle in my eyes,
Far and wide
Through night & day,
Throughout the four known hemispheres,
By land; sea, sky time & space,
Miles turned to days; endless years
I searched to no avail; hopeless
There was no treasure map to guide me,
Just a thought; a wish; a plea,
But just as my travels an end had sought
I turned to look around me
Home once more,
And there I realized
At least not late,
I had sought the wrong treasure
It was there all along
Within my grasp,
She; my love; my life; precious diamond
Her eyes shining stars; which long ago
Had captivated me; and made her
The beautiful apple of my eyes,
A fool was I...

Words...
My words
Are knives
Cutting into you,
My words
Are swords
Splitting you in two,
My words
Are guns
Heavy in my hands,
My words
Are bullets
Shooting you down,
My words
Are butterflies
Light on the wind,
My words
Are hawks
Zeroing in on my prey,
My words
Are owls
Steadily watching,
My words
Are squirrels
Collecting all that is you,
My words
Are bricks
Enclosing you,
My words
Are walls
Surrounding you,
My words
Are doors
You may come and go,
My words
Are whispers
For your ears only,
My words
Are war
Waging peace,
My words
Are love
Adoring you,
My words
Are me; myself and the conflict in I...

A Whole New Day...
When the morning air wakes me
Crisp and chill;
It's a whole new day
As my first thoughts begin to form,
I'm aware
Not of the day that is to be
Or what I am to do or accomplish;
But that there is someone close
Whom I hope never parts;
Thought I do not wake by her side
She is there nearby
Getting ready for her day,
I wish to greet her
To see a smile; hear her voice,
Just to glance upon her eyes
Because she is;
The start of my day
The feeling that wakes me,
My every other thought
Every other breath,
She keeps me awake until
The night falls and I sleep again,
And I hope she'll always wake me
Once more; forever more...

Sweet Apple Pie...
One at a time; word by word
They’re laid down like a heavy sword,
Each line forms more syllables come together
A long boundary without a tether,
Sentences not by a judge
That form stories without a smudge,
Short tales; epic poems
Sometimes of reality or of golems,
At times speech is not enough
So I take pen to paper like wax to buff,
When signs and gestures don’t make the cut
The ink flows forth like intestines from my gut,
Things I said once without meaning
Written on paper come out gleaming,
Once in a while the sweetest verse
Can come across solemn and terse,
And formal expression on occasion
Can command a standing ovation,
Yet sometimes I fear profound
That without texture; flavor or sound,
All my sentiments will die
Unable to illustrate a sweet apple pie,
Because it’s just as good to feel; taste & listen
As text to the eyes do christen...

Amidst...
Among my thoughts and woes
I’m the only one that knows,
From your silky hair
To your pretty toes,
You are the most
Beautiful rose,
Amidst a field
Full of butterweeds
I’m broken down on my knees
But no one can hear my pleas,
Might as well be
Screaming overseas,
Like a ship lost
At the edge of the bay,
You like a lighthouse
Show me the way,
I await you in the morn
Like the first sunray,
Thank you for being you
You make my day...

Any Price...
Any price I'd pay
For the sun to shine,
For the flowers to bloom
For a breeze to play with your hair,
All this I wish
To give to you
As if it were mine,
Just to get you out of that gloom,
Just to brighten your eyes
Take away that stare,
Any price I'd pay
For a jester to make you laugh
For a handsome man to love you back,
For the world to do your bidding,
Of all the things
I want for you,
This is only half,
If it were up to me
Nothing you would lack,
You'd be sitting pretty knitting
Nah, I take that back I think
You'd be laughing
Singing; beautiful in pink,
Not a care in the world,
Not a frizz in your hair
Whether it's straight or curled,
Any price I'd pay
To put the wind under your wings
To give you many wonderful shiny things,
For you to experience pleasure
Unbridled and without measure,
Any price I'd pay just to see you smile
A sight so dazzling;
I could see it from a mile...

Carousel...
I still do
Find a smile
When you come around,
Not real like physically
Being there next to me,
But the kind of
Coming around
In my head,
Like there's a carousel
In my skull
And somehow
I'm standing
There
In one of my eye sockets
Watching it turn
Sometimes so fast
It's all blurry
But the colors
And the lights
Amuse me to no end,
But I'm just serious
Observing
And then it slows
Just enough
That I can see you
A different outfit
A different thought
And I laugh...

Eclipse...
I will never replace him
But I can eclipse his memories,
He like the moon
Still casting shadows
From the past,
And I the glowing orb
In the sky shining fierce
And bright
Trying to blind you
To all that he was,
But you wear your shades
And I can't pierce through,
Still reminiscing
Thinking there was
Maybe something
You didn't do
Didn't try,
And so if
The light fails,
Then I will try
And warm your world
Until you peel off
The heavy coat
And layers of regrets
Weighing you down;
Letting you welcome
The sunrise of our future
And watch the sunset
Close on the past
You're moving on from
As I'm here to be
Your steadfast friend under the sun...

Placebo...
When I was at my worst
When I was just about to jump,
I got a prescription
From life
Two doses of her
One to three times
A day,
To ease my soul
To bring sleep
To feel again
To make me
Sure footed,
But the side effects
Were worse than
My initial sickness
Heartbreak and doubt
Or so I thought,
In recovery
I look back
And realize
At least
I'm still alive
And I no longer
Want to let go;
Thanks to her,
My placebo...

Accept Me...
I want to hold you close
Feel the beating of your heart against mine,
I need the warmth of your soul
To fill the void in mine,
Without you; the skies are gray
The earth around me is dead,
Without you I'm not alive
My blood ceases to flow,
Without you I don't exist
My being is without a spirit,
Without you; I cant live
I want to hold your hands in mine;
And tell you how much I love you,
I want to embrace you
And tell you how much I care,
I want to love you
Show you forever what you mean to me,
Hold me; love me,
I want to know you feel me too
These are the moments I seek,
The instants that give me life
Know who I am; know what I am,
I am the love you search for
Embrace me; accept me...

Afar...
I see you from afar
Twinkling brightly like a star,
As your face lights up
Not from the coffee in your cup,
I can hear the pitter patter of your heart
Faster and faster from the start,
As your eyes lock
Tick tock,
Time stands still
Wonder how long till,
You're both in each other's arms
Exchanging kisses like collector's charms,
This sweet embrace
Who would have suspected this the case?
Two lover's hearts entwined
Love's response in kind,
No one the wiser to your wit
Practiced getaways like the perfect skit,
Each day the feeling growing strong
Learning each other like the words to your favorite song,
And soon I hope the perfect culmination
Will arrive to this incantation,
Live for each moment in this dreamy existence
As you live for each other without pretense...

As One Together...
My heart jumps
When you call,
All my worries
& cares seem to fall,
Just one minute
With you seems an eternity,
Just one word
From you an entire symphony,
Sometimes dreadful I fear,
The angst in my voice you could hear,
The lust, the want, the need,
These feelings held back
That wish to be freed,
To call you names;
Pretty ones I mean,
Like baby, sweetie,
****, my queen,
Your voice flows audible
Toxic to my ears,
A vision of you
Clouds my eyes with tears,
How I yearn to have you before me,
With that pretty smile that fills me with glee,
To see you, hear you,
Feel you, smell you,
I want nothing more
Than to be with you; boo,
To cradle you my love;
In my arms, I wish to give in
To your seductive charms,
I want you once forever;
Just you & I as one together...

Between the Lines...
I still think of you,
Pretty eyes beautiful hue,
I shed a tear,
Whenever your voice I hear,
Think of those times,
Riding between the lines,
Racing fast;
Running away at last;
Our dreams we had to fulfill,
That was such a thrill,
But our time faded,
We strayed from our course jaded,
And so; far and close,
The paths we chose,
Separated our lives,
But sharp they were not knives,
For you still are in my mind,
Your essence you left behind,
For me to cherish, never forget,
Unsettling in my days; you beget...

Reloaded...
So hard not to open
My eyes to the sky
I step quickly
From the shadows
Into the waning light,
My body feels heavy
But my heart feels light
Like out my chest it will break
Leave my carcass behind,
I'm writing again
Polished off the desk
Re inked my pen
The paper is crisp fresh,
There is a breeze
And the air feels new again,
Spring is bounding forth
Towards me and my mind
Is a reloaded gun
I'm going to take it easy
I'm going to take it slow
The setting sun
Behind me;
The coming night
Before me;
Wonder how many
Bullets I have left...

Glow Stick...
Your heart
May be damaged,
But it's a good thing,
Think of it
As a glowstick
Your heart
Like the vial
Inside not broken
All the way,
But
Give it another snap,
And see it light up
Your heart
Will burn bright
And mend;
Sometimes
We need to feel pain
Before we can heal,
Sometimes
We need to fall apart
Before we can build
Ourselves up again,
Harder; better; faster
And stronger than before...

Burn...
You can burn all you please,
Decimate, obliterate;
But I won't even warm,
Already burning hot
From the inside out,
I was always here,
Made to handle your demons,
I cannot be fazed by the darkness,
Fire starter you may be;
But I'm flint for your kindle,
Fuel for your perseverance,
But once you are fully lit
You will never be put out,
And so I'll secede,
For all may stick like burs
But I'm no Velcro;
Volcano on an island;
You'll see my trail in the ashes
All around you fiery torch
And to who will you pass?
I will not know, but hope
That fortunate soul can handle your fire...

Champagne Showers...
She's heard it all
Like extras at casting call,
She's drenched in flowers
And champagne showers,
You can hear the snaps of necks
The splashes off balcony decks,
The beating hearts
And crashing golf carts,
Whilst all she does is smile
While all the while
The stampede's drone
Can be felt jarring to the bone,
They all fall upon themselves
To be for this queen, kings of elves,
Lay a crown upon this jewel
But for those suitors she is no fool,
Because she's seen it all
Like every other weathered leaf in the fall,
She's a snowflake
The one who takes the cake,
But you can have her and eat it too,
Unless you can't be just as spectacular to her too...

Scattered...
You don't have to say hello,
Barely uttering
A threatening
Guttural bellow,
If that frown
Beneath your entitled crown
Is all you know,
The furrow
Of your brows
Could scare away crows,
Your lips uncurled
Just a straight dark line
Like your heart in a jar
Flat lining,
Dead and rotten
I dread to imagine
How you are
By yourself unfurled,
Shattered mirrors and tattered
Wallpaper all about scattered,
Stagnant water in clogged drains;
The decay alone
Could set the tone
For the saddest
And cruelest
Of Broadway shows,
If hell froze over I fear my dear
Your disdain
Would burn a hole
Right through to where I sat,
So if you don't, if you can't
Angle down your nose
And you've all but forgotten,
How to tip your metaphorical hat
And butter a more cheerful 'how are you?',
A nod; just a nod will have to do...

Effect...
Morning skies
Streaked with feathered clouds,
My eyes open to the light
Free of the night shrouds,
I turn to the warmth next to me,
She is so beautiful;
She fills me with glee,
Her breathing soft;
I embrace her form,
Her skin so yielding to my touch,
Not of the norm,
I reminisce about those other days,
Id wake up alone, cold, in a daze,
Now the sunlight's rays I welcome,
I look forward to tomorrow,
And more days to come,
Had she an idea
Of what she means to my eyes,
Shed blackmail me,
Tease me, and tell me lies,
But as she wakes from her slumber,
I look into her eyes
As they open without a cumber,
I see the love, joy and admiration;
That she holds for me;
I would not dream of desertion,
Would there not be a body
To those eyes; her face;
I would not care
For nothing more but a trace,
Because with her eyes,
Those sky speckled spheres,
She embraces me; and loves me;
And douses all my fears;
I feel whole, a man;
With someone to love and protect,
She will not want,
She will not need, I will effect...

Sands of Destin...
She thinks
To herself
"I look nice",
But it must be
Her mind
Is confused
And shocked
When it sees itself
All adjectives frozen;
This is me?
How is this possible?
Mirror mirror on the wall
Who is the most
Beautiful of them all?
And the mirror too
Is silent in awe,
Unable to answer
She's more than nice
How can she not know,
Blue skies
Through her
Eyes is like through
Windows an
Ocean front view,
Gorgeous she is
With a smile like
The white sands
Of Destin,
Her beauty wins
"Best in..."

Recuérdalas...
No puede ser, no lo creo,
Que te he desatendido
Tanto tiempo,
A veces pasan los días
Como si fuesen solo minutos,
Pero no creas que te he olvidado
Aunque no estés en mi cabeza
Siempre estás en mi corazón,
Bajo llave bajo candado

It can't be, I don't believe it,
That I've neglected you
So long,
Sometimes the days go by
Like they're only minutes,
But don't think I've forgotten you
Even if you are not in my head
You're always in my heart,
Under lock and key
Like in one of those safes
For watches, guns, jewelry
All that is valuable, because that is what you are
The most valuable thing to me, and if you don't believe me
Then I'll try and prove it to you anew
Like each new day proves to the world
That it hasn't forgotten it during the night,
Doesn't it leave a night light on
As the moon until the dawn?
That is how I hope these words stay
Planted like the lights placed
By people on their little paths to their homes,
When your days get dark, remember them...

A picture is worth
A thousand words,
I beg to differ
Your beauty
Is worth even more,
In your direction
My eyes wander
More often than not
If not more frequently,
As thoughts of you possess me,
I cannot think of anything else,
I'm powerless
And it frustrates me so,
I want to savor your lips
And feel the warmth of your body,
Who would have thought
Such feelings
Could ever be in me,
Who are you
To control me in such a way?
I crave you
To the fullest
Extent of the word,
You are a merciless angel;

Horizon...
You be the sky
And I'll be the earth
And when your body
Meets mine
It will be the most
Beautiful horizon,
Because you are heaven
And I am hell
You're my weakness
And I am your strength,
And without you
There are no stars
You are sunrise
When you wake
And sunset
When you sleep
And next to me
The starry skies
Lie behind
Moonlit eyelids
Your body
Beautiful hills
And your lips
Rainbows
That spill
Through tears
And smiles
Of golden splendor,
I wish time would still
In this world of ours...

Emotion...
What is emotion?
It’s but a notion
Of an expression on the inside
Shown to the world outside,
My emotions run deep
But bottled up I can’t keep
Those you stir within me
And for everyone to see;
Because words are not enough
To express them without feeling is tough,
And when the syllables run out
I just want to hold you and tell you all about;
The thoughts I have of us and the future
And that to you may seem cute; sure
But there is only so much I wouldn't do,
Just for a minute without the world; just you
And I’d cherish those few precious moments
In my heart; even if in my mind they’re torments
But if you ask me if I’m getting emotional; simply—
All I can say is; I’m all emotion baby…

Clouds Grey...
The clouds grey
Ask me,
Do you miss the sun?
Do you fear the dark?
But I see the silver
Below the sun
I await the rainbow
After the storm,
And I have an umbrella
To weather it all,
I am anxious
For the beating dripping drops
To play like drums
Upon my roof,
I am waiting
For the lightning
And the thunder
Loud fireworks
That put on
A show,
The clouds grey
Will leave,
And I will see
The gold; after
The silver lining
Has run out...

With a handicap
Disabled I am,
I'm learning to walk
Without you,
I'm learning to speak
Without you,
I'm learning to not feel
Without you,
To strive on ahead
And deal with the world
And the stares
And doing everything
On my own
Without you,
And at the end of the day
After I'm tired of it all
I feel the pain
I feel the broken
Parts within me,
And I know
I'll have to do it again
Tomorrow; healing
Without you...

Fell in Love...
Fell in love one day,
Fell in love with a woman,
Beautiful she was,
Sweet her disposition,
Heavenly face,
Devilish body,
She smiled seductively,
She smiled innocently,
She caught me in a trap,
She led me into a place;
Full of wonderful smells,
Full of wonderful feelings,
But this was all a dream,
This was all a misconception,
For underneath that smile;
Was a heart rotten through,
She had no feelings, no moral,
She had tricked me; evil woman,
She took me for all I was worth,
But worst she took my heart,
Fell in love one day,
Fell in love with a devil woman...

Fiddle...
She played me like a fiddle;
Tuned into my thoughts and dreams,
Read me like an open dictionary;
Knew how to solve the riddle,
And so it seems;
She was nothing revolutionary,
Just another pretty face;
Gone almost without a trace,
Leaving me in wondering;
Sitting and pondering,
How will I ever solve this puzzle;
But I must return to my hustle,
What keeps me grounded;
While all others are dumbfounded,
I keep my head clear;
Undistracted unable to hear,
The melodious song of those sirens;
Beautiful and enchanting; oh how it lightens,
The spirit and mind;
Leading many astray,
Their purpose behind;
And as they break though the fray,
They all crash and burn;
For all this I refuse to take a turn...

Ever After...
You are beauty
In high definition;
Like Rembrandt's
Greatest rendition,
You exude elegance;
Causing a delayed remembrance,
Catching everyone's eye;
As you float gracefully by,
Provoking wonder;
As all burst asunder,
From the top of your head;
To the tips of your toes can be read,
Humble acknowledgement of you;
As so many exquisite things do,
But one thing troubles me so;
Why your smile is rare,
I'd like to know,
For someone so charming;
Your unhappiness is quite alarming,
Who would dare make you cry?
Such an idiot deserves to die,
But for now I pray for your laughter;
One day soon you will get
Your happily ever after...

Fate...
I pick up the phone and pause;
As her words ring through my mind,
"You can call me any time"
Like echoes in a cave repeating,
I linger on the thought;
As I replay our encounter,
How she smiled; twinkle in her eye;
I felt vaguely naked,
As if she could see clear inside me;
Wanted to walk away from her stare,
I thought her no more than blind;
What did she see in my eyes?
But she laughed at my inhibition;
And took me by the hand,
She set my soul free;
As she delved into whom I was,
And I no longer was just another;
She made me strive to be more,
Yet all the time I was myself;
She led me to find me,
I read the numbers and dial;
I call my fate...

Valentine's...
She clearly knows
It's Valentines,
But she could care less
For this day,
Clearly labeled
On all the calendars
How could one miss
All the **** signs?
Radios blasting
Commercials on TV,
Emails and Internet
Saturated in marketing
Love for a day,
Come one come all
Let's crowd the mall!
Mindlessly buying
Indifferently picking
Gifts quickly forgotten,
But she isn't crying
She's just a hint of smitten,
One rose by her side
Her smile is quite wide,
Because she's been loved
Yesterday, and will be
Tomorrow as she has been
Every past day,
And she knows today
Won't be the last
Because he promised
He would; forever...

Finish...
Anticipation of tonight sets in
We're dressed to ****,
As the day wears thin,
Your scent intoxicates my senses;
Your body teases me
With ****** pretenses,
As we exit the coupe
I catch a glimpse
Of your glimmering belly hoop,
My blood simmers in my veins
As I take a shot to loosen the reins,
Slowly I cut loose the strings;
No longer caring about earthly things
The beat takes hold of us;
I feel your groove;
All I want to do is see you move,
Move baby; move that body with me
I want to get it on; let everyone see,
As we pulsate with the bass
We hold the spotlight; the pace,
Seamless our bodies to the music
Your body flowing making all the ladies sick,
I feel all those curves against my frame
Half your moves don't have a name,
Our bodies rocking; drenched
We hold everybody's gaze entrenched,
Until the end of this night soon parted
As we head on home to finish what we started...

Fly Away...
You fly forth on wings of dreams
I'm a fool trying to catch you,
But you are not a butterfly
You will not be a part of my collection,
And so further you drift away from me
Yet I continue to chase after you,
You who floated into my dreams
Beautiful winged fairy,
Unattainable and unreachable
Why did you ever cross my path?
Now I'm caught in an endless pursuit
Will I ever hold you within my grasp?
But as long as your image is there
I will continue in this vicious circle,
Following you wherever you may be
And if I ever take hold of you
I will never let go,
For you are my shooting star
My everlasting dream,
But fly away and be merry
For I do not wish to intercede
In your path; your fiery flight,
Fly and be just within reach
I will forever give chase,
For within my restless dreams
I will always love you...

Forbidden Bliss...
I feel my pulse
Quicken steadily;
My fingertips
Perspiring readily,
The anticipation
In my every sense;
Of you coming near
My invisible fence,
Vulnerable to my emotions
It protects me;
But you tear it down
Flimsy no one can see,
I take you in through every pore;
Beauty to my eyes;
Your scent unnerves my core,
The very thought of you
Like an illusion;
Every curl of your hair;
Every curve like a mission,
You wield this control
Unlike any king or power;
If only I could wait
For your command but I cower,
As you touch me
Shivers run through my soul;
What I wouldn't do
But for one kiss no bell would toll,
Your parting lips
To my sight a rose in bloom;
Supple skin and flesh
I wish to hold
Take in my doom,
For; you break my self-control
To give in to this;
What may it be called?
My forbidden bliss...

Rise...
Laugh your blues away
Don't be sad today,
That color doesn't suit you
Unless it's of your eyes hue,
Turn to the sun
And go have fun,
Frolic in the colors
Or walk in a sea of collars,
A smile here and there
Soon the weather will be fair,
But whether it rains or pours
Don't let the blue stains sit indoors,
Open wide the blinds
Inquire of other minds,
The tide will come and go
But only you will know
There is always a break
In between; the waves take,
To rise high before
They come down
Into the shore,
So laugh; always easier than to frown,
Because above the clouds white and grey
The sky is still blue, and everything will be ok...

Crowning...
It might be that we
Started off on the right
Or the wrong or the left
Foot, or beneath the bed
I don't know just don't know
What I shouldn't have
Or what I could have said,
But the past is dead
And the future is crowning
This wilting present
Cannot withstand will not stand
The glaring brazen sun,
And we're standing around
Like strangers in a Starbucks line
Looking over our shoulders
Like we're hiking among
Prowling tigers and venomous
Snakes waiting lurking to strike,
Can't make eye contact
Like we're glancing into a
Flashlight revealing who
We really are, but naked even
We try and run away to hide
What we bare with ease
To a random stranger
In the night lost; forgotten
Like a blown into tissue
You save to use again,
Where do we begin anew?
Hi, it's a pleasure to meet you; I'm...

Greener Pastures...
Show me the other side
Where the grass grows wild,
Over the fence
I go hunting,
For the rainbow
Fresh after the rain,
Washed away
The stains
From my jeans,
Faded tattered
One more hole
Not my pocket
Frayed cuffs
Come undone
I'm running,
Into the thick
Muddy rivers
Splashing happy,
There's no *** of gold
But I'm still golden;
Blue skies
Color me
Into the sloping hills
I've come to frolic
These are
Greener pastures...

Hello...
Just passing by
I say hello to you,
Don't know me
Don't know you;
But that's ok
I come and go
I came and went,
You're no one
I'm no one,
Just say hello
And keep on going,
On your merry way,
On my merry way;
We may meet again;
But hey if it's meant
To be it will be,
If it's not, no one
Is the wiser;
The world
Will keep on
Spinning,
Hello...

Hoops...
Girl with the big shiny hoops,
You got my head
All in loops,
Oh sorry did I admit that? Whoops!
I know I was just with you,
But far away I feel so blue,
Moments with you,
Seem so few,
I want to watch
Your eyes & gestures,
As you speak
Stories not lectures,
Seeing you
Is to my senses, pleasures,
Sure you see me with others,
I'm not belonging
And it bothers; me,
That every other thought
That totters;
In my mind is of you,
I ask myself why,
No answer to my question,
Yet I try,
To figure out my emotions,
But I’d lie,
To myself if I said
I didn't miss you so,
So many feelings
I’d like to show,
I need you,
Just thought I’d let you know...

Undercover...
I was just
Passing through
I thought I'd
Order something
Off the neon lit menu,
When I heard an angel
With a little static
In her heavenly voice,
What would you like
To order today?
An order of wings please
So I can fly away with you,
Sorry we don't have wings,
Oh but you do don't you?
Fine I guess I'll have a burrito
And an icy drink to cool me down
Is your order correct on the screen?
Yes it is! I yell already moving ahead
I almost grind gears I'm nervous,
As I get to the window and I close my eyes
I listen for the sliding glass and I feel the air
Like the pearly gates opening with a whoosh
And I gaze up into heaven and there she is
With her halo and a smile ever so bright,
She gives me the total and I hand her my card
And our fingertips touch and we both blush,
She's gorgeous and I don't hesitate to tell her so;
Even in uniform she looks beautiful undercover,
I have an appetite for two but I really would like
To share a meal and time with you, when is your shift over?

He Went All Out...
Your beauty
Not fleeting,
Keeps me
From breathing,
Beautiful means
Many things,
They all define you,
As many kings;
Would want
To make you
Their queen,
Stunning you are,
Unbelievable a dream;
Come true, pretty you
Standing before me,
I am honored;
Feel humbled to see thee,
My thoughts
Loose their innocence,
You body emits an incandescence
From the side
Your curvature many S’s,
They all rest lightly
A silhouette caresses,
From your entrancing eyes
To your glossy lips,
All the way down
To the sashay of your hips,
Of things unreachable
You are a star,
Has anyone told you
How beautiful you are?
You have truly nothing to worry about,
When God made you
He went all out...

Typical Treatment...
She's not
Your typical girl
With her atypical love,
Loving the world
Through sad eyes,
Streamers
For tear tracks
Laughing
As she cries,
Mixed joys
Complex thoughts,
Watching
Admiring
Wishing
For a cure
To no illness,
She needs not
The typical treatment
For she is nowhere near
Stereotypical or ordinary
She is awesome and extraordinary;
Her smile for now just on hiatus...

Blooming...
She can feel
The thought
Blooming within her
Flowering mind
That will never wilt,
Dew of life
On her
Crown of petals
Hiding the thorns
Within her soul,
She'll spill nectar
Hungry hummingbirds
Static watchers
Of this beauty,
Releasing sweet
Her aroma
Upon the breeze,
But careful you
Lest her truth be
She's a Venus flytrap
Ready to ensnare you,
Handle with care...
