Mr E Mar 2015
I saw the moonlit paradigm
Bestow a shining glare
  Upon the seas and tempest
   At which I did stare
Below the calmness of the skies
     The waters churned and growled
But still above the deafening cries
The moon sat still like owls
        The wisdom of the moon
A shimmering reminder to the sea
That though it churns and destroys
Commanded by the moon it shall always be

At first he wanted peace
Second he wanted safety
Third he wanted justice
Fourth he wanted laws
Fifth he wanted power
Sixth he wanted loyalty
Seventh he wanted dominance
Eighth he wanted cities
Ninth he wanted the country
Tenth he wanted the world
Eleventh he wanted war
Twelfth he wanted triumph
Thirteenth he wanted it all
Fourteenth never came
Much like the peace
He so desperately
Wanted

She stood their still

Like wayward tree

A weeping willow

A weeping woman.

Whose branches bore

Those salty tears

And caught the rain above.

Alone within the meadow

All the other trees had gone

So I ventured out

And grasped her tight

Reassuring her all was well

Reminding her all was right

A cloud brushed past where I sit.
It floated across the window pane
Billowing past my roof
And over head it slowly shrunk until it twas no more

A second cloud came and flew on by
Slower than the first yet still
It wafted right thru the gusty sky
And dissipated close to where the other left

A third cloud came but never reached the spot
Where the last clouds had reached before
And this one died without ever leaving
The cozy view from the window

A fourth cloud sighed and carried on
The slowest of the set
But as it wandered above my roof
It grew to massive size

Finally, the fifth cloud came
And looked at me and cried
Perhaps it cried because it knew all to well
That like clouds, we were all the same

Like clouds we all floated away in time

A boy stood solely
With his back to the sun he cast a shadow
Arching, twisting and blotting out the light
He held his toys in his hand, his momentary joys
And through his tears, through gritted teeth

He cursed the world who had done him wrong

But past that hate that deafening rage
Around that shriveled grudge
He had made his choice
He had picked his lasting seal
For on that day the young boy desired only destruction
And to this path the toddler ran

For it was the only way he knew how to get home

Tearing through the beaten path
A route taken by his father
A route taken by the wolves
The boy, to his delight, finally found what he was looking for
But in his malice
And in his undying hate
The quest for destruction stole even that away from him

And ripping his home out from the ground
He was left with the only things he had carried
But discovered something that made no surprise
He was only left with carnage

Words are merely blots of ink on paper
Formed to produce a sentence structure
Spoken words are only vibrations within our bodies
Reverberating in the air
Do not decieve yourselves to think
That words have the power to protect you
Words only reveal intent
With only the responsibility given
Left to those who hear or read them
Words are only symbols when no one takes notice
Ink stains on manufactured trees
Nothing to the animal
Meaningless to the determined
You say stop
They say go
You write halt
They write no
Determination makes words meaningless
They make words nothing
For desire is the only word on their minds
Desire to accomplish the grandest ventures
Desire to push past your words
Desire to seize it all
Mr E Jan 2015
I hate you
Every brick in your walls
Each and every hallway
Your system is rotten
And your school is destructive
Constantly taking the best and reducing them to nothing
Your smell still lingers on my clothes
Memories still pollute my mind
The jail I sat inside for three whole years still eats me away inside
Why did I ever look up to your banners
How could I ever be proud
To die inside a prison like yours and waste my talents away
I hate you villainous ****
Your colors of Red Black and Grey
I curse my first entrance to your school
And I'll hate you till the end of all days
To a school who helped me realize that change is sometimes and in this case the best course of action. I do not miss you, you only brought me down.
